Enjoyed Scones with Clotted cream and jam (£3.50) .Especially enjoyed the Ciao coffee which can be purchased here but only as coffee beans.Cloudy Apple juice was also good (£2.50) Sitting outside enhanced our good experience here.

Walked down from Dunster Castle on a monday and not much open; but found this tea shop with courtyard at back through an archway.Raised area on synthetic grass but pretty as originally front courtyards to people's homes.Small vintage shed shop back of garden worth a browse.Quiet and Robins.. pied wagtails flitting around for crumbs.Cakes unusual combinations. Most pleased with my falafel board at 12.95.Portions good..service friendly..no rush.Ordered from front of shop..so need someone to keep table as no back entrance although food served from back.

They staff were welcoming and friendly. I am vegan and asked for just a sandwich and they were more than accommodating! They made me a houmous, falafel and chilli chutney sandwich - it was so good! The bread was so fresh! We sat in the garden which is really pretty and fed a visiting Robin. What a lovely place, great food - looking forward to going back!Thankyou :)

A wonderful cafe/B&B in the heart of Dunster. George and the team made us feel very welcome during our stay. The rooms are well equipped and comfortable and we had great views of Dunster high street. A prime location for a Dunster get away.A great menu in the cafe that runs through the day, there’s a wide range of options and they cater for all. All of our meals were delicious. We will absolutely stay here again!

Four of us went there yesterday. It was pouring down rain outside, and the place was packed. My mum was looking for bathroom after a long ride to Dunster, and she asked the old lady at the counter if there was any loo in the tea shop, while my husband and I were browsing the cakes right in front of the counter, about to order something. And this was the moment when the young girl, standing behind the counter, asked (more like shouted) rudely if my mum was a customer. No 'excuse me' no 'please', just straight 'are you a customer?'It was obvious that my mum and I were in the same group as we came in together as a group, and we were about to order! There was no need for such a brute question!I understand they need to make sure that the facilities are only used by customers, but she could see that we were literally standing in front of her at the counter browsing, waiting to order, and we were the only group of Far East Asian coming in as a group so it was so obvious that we were together, and there was no need to chide a customer like this. I don't know if this was her attitude towards customers or if this was her attitude towards Far East Asian. The old lady and the young boy working there were lovely tho, especially the old lady! She guided my mum to the door and showed her the way to the toilet! Hence I didn't reduce the star to 1 or none, because they were nice, just the young girl was the problem.Food and tea were lovely too.

A lovely welcoming tea room that does a proper pot of tea! Hot, plenty of milk, generous cups, with extra water. Our table had a mixture of salads, pies and tea snacks. These included the largest Belgian bun I’ve ever seen. All well presented and served swiftly with a smile. All the better as there didn’t seem to be anywhere else in Dunster serving at 4pm on a Saturday.Great to see a lot of gluten free options and even a gluten free vegan lemon grove cake of which not a crumb survives.
