Katies Cradle

Working as a volunteer in Katie's cradle has been (and still is) one the best experience I've had with animals. Those horses are absolutely amazing, they're loving and clever and I enjoy so much spending time with them. Working there is physically demanding but I wouldn't change it in any way because making efforts for those animals is so rewarding and it makes me extremely happy to do it for them. As for the people working there, I have never seen anyone caring about animals like that, they are treated so well and with so much love. It's extremely touching to see how far Sharon would go to be sure her horses have everything they need. I recommend that place a 100%!

Katie's Cradle is an absolutely wonderful place! They work with different animals including horses, sheep, goats, chickens and dogs. Every day brings new challenges... but Shelby, Sharron, Jamie and Conor face them all with the most positive attitudes. They work extremely hard, often in the toughest conditions, to ensure that their animals have everything they need. The horses are so gentle and curious, which makes being around them a very calming experience. I wish everyone could see all the work that goes into keeping this place afloat. You guys are truly amazing!!!

I follow Katie's Cradle on Instagram and I'm always inspired by the great work they do for the animals. If you're looking to do a good deed then look no further, this charity is truly committed and a little bit of help goes a long way!
