Comfy bed, warm room. Plenty of breakfast choices. Pleasant staff. Who could ask for more.

Super helpful staff. Great location. Well designed bedroom. But...although clean and comfortable, our bedroom (114) was not up to the usual PI standard. It was sad to see curtain hooks missing, broken toilet seat, hairdryer with an intermittent fault, mould beginning to grow in the bathroom, grout needing deep cleaning in the bathroom and a pillow that should have been thrown away some time ago. I struggled to sleep due to the noisy air-conditioning unit. It felt like a budget hotel even though the nightly price is no longer budget.

Comfortable, clean and good breakfast. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect and we really liked our stay.

If you need to stay in St. Albans, there aren’t many choices, but can’t find it in myself to recommend this one. The staff was not bad, friendly I would say, but…. One of my colleagues couldn’t leave the room the second day after eating a burger there, I asked for a taxi early morning and couldn’t find any support from the staff on duty, the air conditioning is set to a low temperature, and even if you adjust it, at some point during the night it goes back to the preset, Nordic temperature. The rooms look kinda clean, but nothing fancy in any way.

Great location. 10 min walk to train station.Parking is 2 mins behind the hotel, £15 for 24hrs.Plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby.Staff very helpful and friendly, no problem when we needed to stay an extra night.Breakfast was great and replenished often. Used tables promptly cleaned and ready for next guest.Rooms lovely and comfortable, only 1 bath towel in the rooms, seems to be Premier inn standard, but no problem when asked for another.Had seen other reviews ref noise from club next door, but asked for a quiet room and no problem at all..it was very quiet.

Spent 3 day's in this Hotel this week highly recommend staying here or just having a meal in the restaurant.The Rooms's i stayed in were cleaned to very high standards and the staff are welcoming, and very well trained.Breakfast was what i expected and standard self-service that all hotel's of this type do. It was consistently good every time.In the evening i had the house burger with hand-cut chips and co slaw, which was served with in 15 - 20 minutes (perfect timing), the food was nicely presented and fresh, i could tell they have very high standards of cleaning. I could also tell that although i only had the burger, what ever i had chosen from the menu would have been served to same consistent standard of quality.I have worked in the Hotel and Catering Industry for over 20 year's and experienced up to Development/Head Chef level, if i found something to complain about i promise you i would defiantly would have said some thing, but i was very impressed. The General Manger should be very pleased with the Chefs and Front of House staff. I don't know anyone who works there and i did not mention to anyone that i was a Qualified Chef, this review is completely impartial.The only criticism i have is the Menu, but that is only my opinion based upon what i would do a as Chef to optimise sale's, all Chef's do this when they when see a Menu, as well as looking out for new idea's they could use when creating a Menu.Keep up the good work and thank you for making my stay a pleasant one.

Excellent value for money. The hotel was clean and tidy, the rooms were pleasantly warm, comfortable and quiet, the service was friendly and efficient and breakfast was delicious. The only downside was the lack of free parking at the hotel but this is to be expected for a central location.

Extremely slow service in the restaurant with disabled kids who struggled with the wait and lack of items available on the menu. Pull out bed was like sleeping on solid ground and left my husband with back pain for our long journey the following day. Complained directly to the hotel and heard nothing back from them.

Great Central location. Room is what you'd expect from premier inn. Service varied from apauling to fair. We had the meal deal and ate on Sunday evening. Food was mediocre service was diabolical. 2 people working however the male did nothing apart from entertain his mates in the restaurant area. The female working was run ragged, working reception,bar and restaurant. When she bought the wrong drink she said oh FFSake, then apologised. Some staff training required I think. The week day was much better.

We stayed at the Premier Inn on a Saturday night. Our room was directly opposite the entrance to a nightclub and we were kept awake by the music and then when the club closed by people on the street chatting and shouting. The hotel reception apologiesed and said that this is a known problem and directed us to their good night sleep" guarantee. However
