The Grandtully Hotel by Ballintaggart
Surprised my husband here for 3 nights + tasting menu in August. We had a wonderful time. The property is beautiful and the staff were all lovely. The breakfasts were outstanding, and so much food we didn't need to eat until mid afternoon! We had a couple dinners at the bar as well as the tasting menu which were fantastic as well. If we're ever in Scotland again, we'll absolutely go back!

This place is exceptional. The food and the staff are amazing.There is a great vibe at this place that you don't get at many hotels.The tasting menu was top quality and unrivaled by many London restaurants that charge way more.Well done to the entire team at the Grandtully. We will return.

Superb service! Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, fast service and a wide selection of very interesting drinks.Went there with partner and it was brilliant, next day we had the private room for my team. Equitably brilliant and outstanding service.The food is equally outstanding, the crispy mussels to die for, I asked for a bucket… annoyingly they don’t do that. Duck was just perfect and the red mullet full of flavour. They cater for GF, Vegetarian and vegan, just ask! Extraordinary experience. Book in advance as it gets busy… worth the hike and yes! I’ll be retuning very soon.Thanks to Chris for the wine selection and Holly for arranging such a great evening for my team- They all LOVED IT and THBAK YOU PROFUSELY!!

Had dinner here last week at 'The Tully', my wife and I had the Halibut and Venison Burger. My god, written words don't do this place justice. Not only was the service/demeanour of the staff impeccable but the food was absolutely amazing! I think it may be the best lunch I've ever eaten!Will definitely be coming back here again! 10/10, well done to all involved!

Fantastic visit and experience at the Grandtully, firstly the staff they have employed there were an absolute credit to the business, genuinely friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The hotel is located just outside of Aberfeldy right along the river Tay. We stayed in room 8 with the small terrace at the back of hotel.We are from the taster menu restaurant on the evening and the food was outstanding, compliments to the chef and team. Unfortunately the waiter was an Arsenal fan but that can’t be helped ;-), he was excellent as was the guy from South Africa (unfortunately I didn’t get there names )We were served 5 courses of local produce including the Venison which was excellent.Hotel room was clean well kept and had everything you’d need. Very warm and friendly hotel and would love to visit again.

Was not staying but visited restaurant. Service and decor both very good and have been looking forward to eating here for some time. Homemade sourdough bread with whipped butter fabulous. Spiced parsnip and smoked honey soup was delicious but served lukewarm. Vegetarian main of salt baked celeriac with cauliflower was very tasty and inventive, but tiny portion. One slice celeriac and two pieces of cauliflower. Not much for £18. Why do chefs think vegetarians meals should be significantly smaller than meat/fish dishes? I love vegetables but this was more like a reasonable size starter. My husband enjoyed the beef, but again both dishes only lukewarm. Overall a bit underwhelming.

My partner took me her for my Roth birthday and was totally blown away with her whole experience, where lots of nice, small touches come together to make a great stay, brilliant food, fantastic whisky selection, knowledgable for whom nothing is too much effort, and would HIGHLY recommend a stay here!!

We had a lovely lunch here. Good and pleasant service. Very tasty steak, cauliflower soup and salad! Lots of local produce.We sat on the terrace and were pleasantly warmed by a outdoor fireplace.

We had a lovely lunch at Grandtully. I have been here a couple of times before and it did not disappoint. Really like this place and the staff is super friendly. We were not very hungry so no starters and desserts but the menu looked very creative and mouthwatering. We all opted for the pork burger and were super happy with our choice. The burger was very tasty and juicy and we can only highly recommend it. Would love to return for a bigger meal on our next trip. Thanks Grandtully team.
