Abbey House Vets in Halton

Took my 17 week old kitten baby Milo to abbey house vets and they neglected his illness not really caring If anything was wrong with him resulting in him dying and leaving all of our hearts broken. If you care about your pets , Save your pets and don’t take them here as they don’t care about the health of your animal just the money to pay them.

Friendly helpful staff. The vet was very knowledgeable and listened to our problem. I felt happy with the plan for treatment.

What a wonderful team at Halton , all very friendly and welcoming. Joined them when my puppy’s was 8 weeks old and now she’s 8 months. We are in their health scheme which is fantastic value for money. Anne is amazing I swear she’s a dog whisperer.. my dog had a operation yesterday and Ann was amazing with her , rang me twice personally.I recommend them to everyone I know .

Recently switched to Abbey House Vets due to moving house. Receptionist was very polite and helpful. She explained their Pet Health for Life Plan, which we promptly got set up with. My dog's health records were obtained swiftly and we were able to arrange his initial checkup for within the week. We were also able to fit in nail trimming (and for my dog this is an absolute nightmare!) but with the help of the vet and vet nurse, they were able to keep him calm and his nails were trimmed efficiently and effortlessly (when it was me trying to hold him still it was impossible but the nurse was amazing and held him just perfectly and I was very pleasantly surprised to see how well behaved my dog was being!).So far so good, cannot fault the vets at all and very pleased with every interaction so far. Thank you :)

Only my first visit with my new kitten but was really happy with the staff and service we received. Friendly and attentive. Good clear Covid procedures. I felt very comfortable handing my kitten over to the vet for her first vaccination.

I had the sad occasion to have my 11 year old bunny (Fudge) put to sleep last week.I have to say that the staff at Calder were excellent.I was clearly upset and the ladies there were so sympathetic.They helped me throughout.My little Fudgie was dealt with in a calm and caring way and I,m sure it was the right thing to do.I would like to thank all involved for the caring professional way you all acted.The card of condolence you sent was a very nice touch and was much appreciated.Thank you.

I have several pets registered at this practice, they have always provided excellent care for all of my pets. They supported my old boy Milo (14) through the last year of his life as he became progressively more disabled from long standing neurological and mobility issues. I will be forever grateful that they ensured his passing was as peaceful and gentle as it could be for him and for me when the time came. I still have two dogs and a cat, all of whom have attended the practice in the last year for various things, from routine vaccinations, an infected cat bite and an eye procedure. Every time the reception staff are accommodating and welcoming. The vet is always caring and lovely to all of my pets and takes the time to explain/discuss everything with me. I cannot fault them and I am reassured that my pets will always be in good hands.

Always found this practice to be very helpful and pleasant.

Vet was lovely and she genuinely cared for all animals. She spent time with us answering our questions and we didn't feel that she was in a hurry for us to leave. Will definitely visit this branch again.

Brilliant vets, reasonably priced, staff always helpful and happy and most of all my pooch likes it too
