Richmond Villages Aston-on-Trent

Our neighbours of 15 years moved to the Richmond Village last year and we travelled over to visit them having never been before and not knowing anything really about it.I'd say it was a bit difficult to find as there doesn't seem to be any signs for it.We had lunch in the restaurant and the food was delicious. The waiter was called Sam and he was extremely attentive.The property our neighbours have moved in to is really surprising in terms of just how big it is and they seem very much happy and settled already.Next time they host I want to use the pool!

The property is spotlessly clean and well maintained with good facilities. The restaurant has a varied menu and serves good food at reasonable prices. Staff are friendly and helpful.Particular thanks to Deborah

Having visited the Wellness Spa I was met with wonderful professional welcome from the staff, given a tour or the facilities and had everything explained to me fully on how everything operates and everything that is provided, from, towels, equipment to tissues and coffee. I was advised when times were quiet to enable me to do my exercises in the pool and then relax afterwards in the hydro pool. I couldn’t fault my experience.The village is exceptional there is a great cafe that is open to the public,, again the staff provided great hospitality, with a lovely selection of food and drinks and lots of locals seem to be using this best kept secret. It was lovely to be able to chat with residents that had been living their for many years and they couldn’t say a bad word about the staff and the facilities at the village. The overall appearance and experience leaves you feeling like you’re in a holiday village, truly worth a visit.

My mother has made the move to Richmond Village at Aston on Trent and has settled in very quickly. Her apartment is really well appointed and the facilities are superb. However the icing on the cake are the wonderful staff who make her feel special and can not do enough to support her.

Deborah showed us around this very impressive village, giving a service that was both friendly and highly professional. The facilities really make this location effectively a spa resort, at a very reasonable cost. Its integration with the local community (we met some local residents at the cafe/bar--very decent food) is also a great feature, meaning there's not so much feeling of an enclave of retirees only. It's currently no.1 on our list as we research options and will be hard to beat.

I have recently visited Richmond Villages, Aston-on-Trent, to book a short stay for my mother. I would like to thank Deborah for showing me around. She couldn’t have been more helpful with the many questions I had. The apartments, facilities and staff are superb and I would recommend anyone wishing for a 5* respite stay to visit.

I have been very impressed by the professional and friendly staff at Richmond Village when I was making enquiries for an elderly relative. Their communication with me, setting up a visit was excellent and Jack showed me around the Village and talked me through all the possible living arrangements and activities that were offered. The information pack was comprehensive and gave a breakdown of all the prices so there would be no surprises.

My family and I recently visited Richmond retirement village for their Easter fun day. All proceeds going to help the children charity.What a beautiful facility it is, from the gardens to the clubhouse to the spa and all the staff were so polite and welcoming. This is absolutely the place I would be happy to recommend to my relatives.

As a complex you could not ask for more, as we walked round it’s like a hotel and you feel very safe and looked after. Debbie had listened carefully to what we needed for mum and showed us all the options of accommodation within our budget and explained what was included and what else was available should we need to top up the care she may need in the future.
