Bellway - Tranby Park

Having lived on this development for nearly three years we can’t help but feel the initial sell is vastly different to the experience once you sign on the dotted line. My reference is specifically to the upkeep or should I say lack of upkeep to the grounds, greens and communal areas.You will notice that the show houses gardens and general fauna always looks pristine, however please venture further into the development and you will witness Neolithic incompetence and neglect shines through when looking at the greens, boundary hedges, weeds, last years fallen leaves still laying around and blowing into everyone’s gardens.When challenging the management through Bellway there is lots of finger pointing and general copy and paste excuse style responses but nothing ever done to a satisfactory level. Baring in mind residents upon completion have to make a mandatory payment for the “upkeep” of the greens which is not happening and when it does they literally skim over the surface and do the bare minimum. Ironically and I’m sure not coincidentally just before a directors site walk certain areas on the walk through route are made to look as they should.I would love to give Bellway a better rating as our house is lovely but the feeling of being insignificant once you move in and watching the miss management of the grounds is extremely frustrating as this place could be great not just good.

Lovely new houses on Tranby Park

One of many of the new housing estates that are blighting the countryside around the area they are all much of a muchness. Mainly expensive multi bedroom properties, many of them sold, but all of these estates have one thing in common. They are soulless, the houses full of people but you never see anyone, except for walking their dogs. No kids gathering in the streets, yes they have gardens these days, but they lack the buzz of a community.The houses themselves look fine but walking down those streets and roads it is an eerie experience. There again I come from an era of playing marbles in the roadside gutters but I deffinately can't see that happening on these estates. And another thing, where are all the bungalows? This estate is no better or worse than the multiple other estates that a popping up all over the place with alarming regularity. Life moves on, and so do these new housing estates.
