Holy Innocents, Broughton Mills - A Church Near You | Holy Innocents in Broughton Mills is an historic Chapel of Ease for St Mary's, Broughton. It was built in 1888 with local labour. It is much-loved and well cared for by its community. The unusual nave and apse design, with continuous roof, is believed to have been inspired by the Paley, Sharpe & Austin design for nearby Woodland. Our church is open at all times and you are very welcome to visit. There is a service every Wednesday at 10.00am, to which visitors and passers-by are made especially welcome. After the service, refreshments are served, including a a soup lunch in the winter months. Regular Sunday services can be found at the mother church of St Mary, Broughton.
