First Flight Hot air Balloons

Had the best experience flying over Bath with my family. None of us had ever done anything like it before and came away absolutely buzzing! Nick, was fantastic from day one of my inquiry through to all the questions I had and on the day, he and his team were brilliant. The efficacy, friendliness and skills made of experience. I would recommend it to everyone. Thank you Nick for a lifelong memory.

Absolutely amazing experience! Our flight from the Chew Valley launch site was incredible, we had perfect weather and flew over the beautiful Mendips and right through Cheddar Gorge. The team were amazing, fitting us in after work and covid stopped multiple opportunities to fly and making sure the weather would be perfect for us as we had to drive from London on the day. Highly recommend!

Had a great day's flying with First Flight. Well organised and friendly team. Didn't know what to expect as was our first time flying. Very smooth ride, taking off and landing. We all helped pack away the balloon at the end and finished with a bucks fizz. Views were to die for. Will defo be booking again

A great evening with First Flight, I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to book a balloon flight. Nick and his team were amazing, really informative, friendly and helpful. My mum and I had a brilliant time. Fantastic skies, views and sunset.

Nick (from first flight) deserves every 5 star review possible. It was a beautiful experience from start to finish. Definitely worth every penny. And there’s also a celebratory champagne at the end of the ride. Completely safe, reliable and wholesome. Unforgettable memories. Moreover, there was an issue with our card payment. Nick was patient and kind enough to wait for the payment to go through even 2-3 weeks after we flew.

Nick and his team were lovely. It took a few changes of date to get a calm enough evening to fly but they were helpful in texting to let us know. On the day they explained everything clearly as to how we can help get involved and I felt at ease (even though I'm slightly afraid of heights). Take off was smooth and landing was perfect, with the sunset and a surprise glass of bubbly at the end. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Excellent service from start to finish. Last week my Auntie, grandad and myself took to the sky in a hot air balloon to scatter my moms ashes as she requested on what would have been her 50th Birthday. It was a very special day and Nick has provided fantastic customer service from the moment I first made contact to arrange the day right up to the very end. On the flight Nick was informative about the landscape we could see around us and when it came time to scatter my mom’s ashes explained what he needed to do before giving us the go ahead, he pinpointed the coordinates and sent them onto me when we were heading back to our take off location. Overall a fantastic flight, topped it off with some Bucks Fizz after the Tetris style packing up of the balloon. Thank you Nick to you and your team for helping my family to make lasting memories.

OMG, highly recommended!!! What an incredible experience in a hot air balloon over Chew Valley Lake/Blagdon Lake/Cheddar Gorge, with Bristol and Wales in the distance.So many laughs, Nick Dunnington from First Flight was an absolutely amazing pilot, but with added entertainment!Thanks for returning us safely.
