Hayley has completely refurbished, from scratch, 2 Victorian chairs for us and made some wonderful seat cushions/pads for our conservatory furniture. We are absolutely delighted with her incredibly perfect work and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a perfect furniture transformation!

Hayley absolutely charming and willing to advise best practices but also insisted that some things had to be her way (safe use of fabric etc). I am thrilled with the end result, and the bill was less than I was expecting

We had a tired victorian drop end sofa. It was given to us by mum many years ago. She passed away this year and we wanted to find someone who could restore it to its former glory, and produce something my mum would be proud of. When we first met Hayley we felt she would do justice to the sofa. Hayley was amazing from start to finish. On a regular basis we got updates with pictures so we could follow the journey of the restoration. She even found the old material from when it was done back in the 30s! A great memory to have. When she returned the sofa she was so excited as were we. The attention to detail is amazing. It is now a beautifully restored sofa. The picture really doesn't do justice to what Hayley has done. We will certainly use her again and would have no doubt in recommending her.

I've had four dining chairs that were my Grandmother's, made for her by her brother-in-law in around 1939, for around 26 years and have always wanted to get them recovered. I'm so glad I waiting so long as Hayley has been amazing! So patient, thoughtful, helpful and professional. I am absolutely delighted with the chairs, they just look beautiful (maybe not everyones choice, but I love them!). I've added some before and after photos. Thank you Hayley!

Our chaise longue, which has been in a sorry state for over 30 years, has now been reupholstered by Hayley. We are absolutely delighted with the result. Hayley's workmanship is of the highest standard and she has now transformed the chaise into a stunning piece of furniture. We were particularly pleased that she found time to give us frequent updates and photos with regard to progress with the reupholstery. Hayley's enthusiasm for her work is clearly evident - she was as excited as we were when she returned the finished chaise longue to us. We had six dining room chairs that needed recovering, they were material and we decided on Faux Leather, Hayley at Portishead Upholstery came highly recommended some I got in touch and she popped some samples up to us. The colour of the Faux Leather we wanted was unavailable, but Hayley worked hard to find it and succeeded, so the chairs went off and were ready two days later.She has done the best job, the chairs look new! We are so impressed. I can highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again. Thanks Hayley.

We had four old chairs re-upholstered all in different bright colours and Hayley did a fantastic job, so pleased with them. She was very prompt in all her contacts and shared her progress with photos of the dismantling of the chairs and the re-upholstering process. Hayley is very enthusiastic about her work. and passionate about preserving old furniture. She uses traditional techniques and the finished product is extremely professional. Love my newly upholstered chair!!Hayley has really worked her magic on this originally very sad 1930’s chair that I inherited from my grandparents.The chair has been brought back to life by being re-plumped, re-sprung and lovingly recovered in my favourite fabric.Hayley has gone beyond my expectations and has really strived to get my chair looking at it’s very best.
