Thorpe Lakes Aqua Park

Amazing experience for the kids! 2 different sections, so worth it, you get an hour session with 30 mins on each section. Benches to watch from. Also have other activities such as wake boarding which was great to watch with our picnic!

Visited the inflatable water park here. Excellent location and great fun. The safety briefing was comprehensive and the lifeguards on duty were obviously keeping an eye out for the children. There's shade for the onlookers on the hill. Bit of a shame that the nearest kiosk is a bit of a walk back to the main area but the kids loved the place so much that I don't really mind!

Went there with my 15 year old triplets and we had a ball. The park has a lovely atmosphere to it (the fact that the weather was great did its bit too). It is large with lakes, big green patches and shady trees everywhere.We did the assault course and it was a blast. I'm a balding middle aged man, but I felt like a kid in the water climbing over the many obstacles. Everyone there had a smile on their face! The guards are very cool about diving, jumping and generally let people have their fun.We climbed, slid, jumped and swam for a full hour. It was tiring but oh so much fun!For 15 pounds a person (wet suits were not required due to the heat) it was well worth the money. My kids loved it and we had some great bonding time.Next time we will try the water skiing, which looked like a lot of fun.There is a canteen / restaurant with really nice burgers too.

Had a fantastic day out on a sunny weekend. Kids had fun time in Aqua park and little ones enjoyed their time in sand. It was a great picnic with family and friends. I would highly recommend it but make sure to book the event online well in advance.

I went for wakeboarding and the aqua park on two different days.Ben's a great instructor and all the staff were really friendly and helpful.Also huge thanks to Emily for help with the booking.The only concern I have is the water murkiness, I didn't get ill so I imagine the water is fine.If you've never tried water skiing I recommend the cable first and water skiing over wakeboarding first, however if you ski or snowboard you'll be fine.

We took my daughter and her friend for her 14th birthday. They loved doing the inflatable course so much they want to do it again and are desperate to have a go at water skiing. The staff are really friendly, we weren't as early as planned due to traffic and they just moved us to the next timeslot that had space.Hot chocolate was good too!
