Camp Baboon
A unique experience that was fun, relaxing and informative for all the family. We were looked after by welcoming hosts and knowledgeable guides. We stayed in a 'just right' glamping pod within very well kept surroundings whilst thoroughly enjoying outdoor activities and encounters with a range of animals. Would highly recommend to any nature loving family.

We stayed at camp baboon as a family for my sons 13th birthday. My two teenage boys really loved the experience, Bush craft was a real hit.The hosts were very nice, attentive and informative. The evening and morning tours were great and we even got to feed some animals their breakfast. The evening meal was a perfect portion, breakfast was nice but the only thing I would change was the size of the bacon roll. All in all, though, was an amazing experience for all the family!

We had an amazing time. It's not a cheap weekend but everything about it was brilliant. The three guides (Alice, Alex and Ava) were knowledgeable and charismatic and the evening and morning tours were really enjoyable, getting us to all the animals in the park. The evening meal and breakfasts were tasty and filling and all the other guests were good company too

Stayed here with two children aged 10 and 8. We were spoiled as we were the only guests. The staff were knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The bush crafts were really fun and engaging. The highlights for us were the tours around the park outside opening hours. We were really lucky seeing the animals in the peace and quiet. The kids loved it. Definitely recommend.

A little disappointed, if they go with small children it’s better to take pram, there’s a lotTo walk to see animals. There is a little signage missing to understand the map, which is a little confusing. There are no activities for small kids and some things were closed.

Amazing experience!! The glamping pods were actual really comfy. Ours consisted of a bunk bed which easily accommodated two fully grown adults and then a double sized bed. All the beds and bedding were clean and comfortable to sleep in.The living space inside was small but what's to be expected of a pod? We could all sit inside easily enough with our luggage etc and not feel cramped. And the bathroom was lush! Amazing shower! Cute decking area outside that sat 7 of us easily. The activities were fun and then the evening and morning tours of the animals were thoroughly informative and nice as the park wasn't yet open to the rest of the public so you weren't fighting to see the animals etc.The dinner and breakfast offered were varied and fresh.Couldn't flaw the experience tbh.

Fantastic experience to get a private tour of the place in the evening and then again in the morning when the site was closed to the general public. Sam and Ben were great guides and the children (aged 9 and 4) really enjoyed the Bush craft activities/mashmallows over the fire. We were lucky enough to feed some of the animals in the morning and were also lucky enough to be the only ones staying on site.Cabins are comfy and definitely suitable for a one night stay, the shower is amazing! Finally, a ticket to Bristol zoo is included but suggests it has to be used the following day on the website but on arrival we found out it's actually valid for a year.

I never done the camp side of things. But I did do the animals side and it was good. In away with all that's going on and now they had to shut for the 3 time now. I did feel sad as I felt where they put things in place because of Covid your round in minutes tho. But looking to the future when they become one hole zoo from Bristol zoo joining them it will be good so exciting and wait for when they do that for 2024. It will be massive and good all round

Fantastic weekend doing bushcraft activities, evening talks and tours of the animals and a bbq followed by toasting marshmallows round the campfire. We had a morning tour of the animals and got to feed some of them, had breakfast with the giraffes and another day in Wild Place Project. Highly recommend for families.
