Stratford Town Walk and Stratford Ghost Walk

This was a fantastic tour, full of insightful history about Stratford but balanced perfectly with plenty of humour. John was an excellent guide, who made the tour come to life. To top it off, dogs are very welcome!

What an amazing and entertaining couple of hours! I'd booked for a family break of 13 people and the booking process and communication was clear, smooth and easy. On the day, John met us and was friendly, informative, polite and funny too. The tour was suitable for all, from those in their 20s to those in their 70s. It's not a physically demanding tour and doesn't feature any stairs or climbing. John's delivery was perfect and we saw so many beautiful buildings which John brought to life with his engaging tales and details that you just can't get without his type of local knowledge and experience. We learned lots of interesting and unusual facts about the town itself and, of course, Shakespeare. We all thoroughly enjoyed our tour and I'd urge anyone to book this when they visit Stratford-upon-Avon.

Excellent 2 hour walking tour. Our guide is a Shakespeare scholar and had insight to Stratford upon Avon (SUA). The tour brought SUA to life as well as theater insight. Well worth the fee!

Our guide met us on time at the designated meeting place. She was very knowledgeable and made the tour really interesting. Not really being someone who has read much Shakespeare, I really felt I learnt a lot not only about the Play write but also his family and the history of Strafford. I would highly recommend this tour as a great starting point for any visitors to Strafford upon Avon.

We booked the town walk during a recent trip to Stratford, Grace our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, pointing out so many interesting historical landmarks we would most probably have missed otherwise. A truly memorable experience and a great introduction to the town, we went on to visit a number of other attractions in Stratford Grace talked about during the tour including The Guildhall and Holy Trinity Church. Took Stratford Town walk tour with John and was one of the best things ever! It was like the town became alive, more charming, more real. 100% recommend it if visiting the town to have more context about Shakespeare's birthplace.
