Sorry guys, hate to leave a bad review and wouldn't normally but today's order was particularly bad. Ordered fried chicken £11 got two skinny wings bulked up with rice and salad. Wings would probably cost £2 quid elsewhere. Didn't ask for £9 worth of salad and rice. Need to make clear on menu if this is what you get.

Ordered via Deliveroo:1x Cornflake Pie £5.901x Custard £1.751x Jerk Box, Plantain, Rice & Peas, Chicken Split £22.30Service fee £1.49Delivery fee FreeBag fee £0.10Total £31.54I tried the Jerk Box @£15 found the gravy to be too hot for me & somewhat overpriced as the box wasn't that big. The description of its contents can vary across the food apps so i didn't realise it already included plantain which i ordered separately. A bit of a pungent smell to that. The cornflake pie wasn't anything special, quite small & didn't come with custard on the app, its just regular cornflakes sprinkled on top which were not crunchy but soft, so i could tell they were old. The chicken split was the nicest part of the meal but too pricey overall so not really worth it.

Decided to dine in and relax, ordered curried goat and it was delicious! Lovely presentation, friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere. I ordered jerk chicken to take home to my daughter and she absolutely loved it. Will definitely be returning, big thumbs up Ladies

Ordered from here for the first time yesterday after recently moving to the area and driving past several times. Coincidentally it was a Sunday so had to try the carribean style Sunday Roast!Read some reviews on Google which gave me high hopes and then came across their website. This is where things get awkward.I ordered 2 3x meat roasts with a cake and drink. With the 15% discount through the website it came to £34 something. After placing the order I got a notification saying please call the shop. I tried to call the shop but the number was invalid so I then had to drive to the shop to figure out what the problem was.I entered the shop and to my horror a white (none carribean) girl came out from the back so I immediately thought this food is not going to taste authentic the girl has probably never even been to Jamaica. The girl was lovely and polite and explained to me that the payment hadn't gone through or would be cancelled because they don't use the website? She said it happens all the time people order on the website and the owner doesn't use it? I can't wrap my head around having a website for your business but not using it and leaving it online so a repeat cycle of customers order on it and then have the order cancelled in store. It makes no sense. It was awkward for me as a customer and awkward for the girl serving us as she has to keep explaining the weird set up to the customers. This now meant I would have to find another method of payment. Luckily I had £30 in cash on me and I had my phone on me for mobile banking. In all honesty I kind of expected the owner who had just arrived to say just call it £30 for the inconvenience. They did however ask me to send the other 4 and a bit quid to a bank account. I didn't mind this but again it was stressful because the app wasn't recognising the details and it took a few attempts to transfer the money. The whole customer experience was stressful and confusing.Moving onto the food..The Roasts came out after about 15 minutes and smelt amazing. After a short drive home I couldn't wait to tuck in.I ordered spicy lamb and jerk chicken with mash and rice and a side of mixed veg. My partner ordered 3x Roast chicken. We were both expecting the meat to be off the bone after looking at the menu but all the chicken came on the bone. Despite this not being our preference the food was very nice. The gravy was one of the nicest gravies I've ever had. The chicken practically fell off the bone. The lamb came in like a donner style which was a little dry but had a great spicy flavour. The mash was creamy and delicious. The roast potatoes were fluffy and tasty. There was a mountain of rice underneath. Overall it was very nice food and extremely filling.I have to be honest I would give the food a 4 out of 5 and the service a 2 out of 5. With a 3/5 Overall. Carribean food isn't cheap compared to Indian/Chinese takeaway and when you're spending 35 quid on 2 meals the whole experience should be customer friendly.I think the website issue definitely needs addressing.I would probably come back at some point and order in store although I can think of 3 more local carribean shops I frequent a lot that are cheaper with the same quality of food and stress free ordering.Kind of a shame because the food here is actually decent..
