I have just broken down on a busy Colchester road at night, in a classic car and in sub-zero temperatures. Zak and his son were brilliant on the phone and found me within 30 minutes. Zak is a very careful driver and was not at all worried about driving down difficult country lanes to drop the car off. Strongly recommended.

This gentleman was hired to tow my car to the garage for £80 but he managed to get my car going so only took £60 when offered the full £80.He told me that he would only charge me his call-out charge which was £60 so that was really good of him. He also gave me some really good advice as to how to proceed with my car.So I would highly recommend you to use this company as they are reliable professional and don't rip you off.

When our car broke down at the very end of our vacation in the UK, we called Zav 24/7 to tow our car to the next car repair shop. The communication was very smooth right from the start and he made us a good offer. When he came to pick us up, it turned out what a hero he actually was. While our insurance made things very complicated to even get a diagnosis for the problem, Zav 24/7 quickly understood what was wrong (broken ball bearing on the driving shaft) and arranged for the necessary replacement and repair within very few hours. On a weekend! He and his family were hosting us so open-heartedly and friendly while we were all stressed out and did not know at all when we would be able to return back to Germany. Zav‘s service was outstanding - professional, sociable, reliable and incredibly flexible and unconventional. We were VERY blessed to have called you and could have never imagined how quickly we would be able to go home - and for a fair price and „all-inclusive“ care on a social level. Thank you SO much! Went with my wife to a wedding on Mersea and was about to travel home when I had a rear suspension problem – disturbing knocking sounds when going over bumps even at low speed. Fluid leak observed under car. Got to local MOT ‘very busy and fully-booked’ garage who put it on ramp, had a brief look and simply suggested it may not be safe to drive so I should arrange a recovery to Nottingham. No local garages able to carry out any short notice work. Reported to RAC at exactly 10am. After repeated re-scheduling throughout the day - not being able to go far from car in case they turned up - finally at 6pm I received yet another text, informing me that recovery was now re-scheduled to midnight. Enough! Googled recovery and found Zav who was straightforward about recovery timing and cost. He turned up 30 mins later as promised and loaded my car, then asked further questions about checks that had been carried out and the advice I had been given. This led to him taking the wheel off to examine fluid leak, when he was able to confirm that brakes were in order and suspension spring not affected – the problem was a leaked shock absorber. He was honest enough to say that he would be happy to carry out the recovery as agreed, but that he felt this would be taking my money improperly, as the car was in fact driveable more or less as normal with care – and reduced speed in the wet. After some further explanation and questioning, including a demonstration test drive by Zav to show me exactly what he meant, the car was unloaded and I drove back home carefully but without problem. I of course paid him what he requested for the call out - and happily a little extra - for saving me from a big unnecessary expense. I would have no hesitation in using him again or in recommending him to anyone else. The world needs more thorough and honest people like him!

Zav has helped me twice now in the last year when two different family members were involved in accidents . Policeman was the one who recommended him ! There very quickly . Very polite and happy to help. I saved his number last year , just in case ! Then my mum had a crash last Wednesday. I called him out and he was there within ten minutes . My car battery decided to die this morning on the A12 motorway. I called Zav 24/7 and they were there very quickly. In no time, I was up and running. I was so relieved and thankful. The price was very reasonable and I was ever so thankful. I can't recommend this company enough. The guy was very professional and friendly. If you're ever stuck, give these guys a go. They are brilliant.
