I've been going to The Lighthouse Centre for well over a decade now and the place is timeless. Alex the owner runs the place selflessly and often goes out of his way to accommodate all comers, the needy, lonely, unsure, hungry. I enjoy volunteering there and going back for meals and a catch up. There's now a 50p pantry for those struggling with food bills & plans to open up an economy clothing bank too. There's bingo & a quiz now on Wednesdays with a great atmosphere.

Great meals ... super price. Cheery staff. Great selection of food and delicious desserts on offer. Well worth a visit. plus you can donate £2 for a homeless person to have a meal.

Love this place,it's like a family, and everyone is so welcoming. There are loads to do board games,pool tables, and free computers with Internet access. They have bingo on a Wednesday and a quiz on a Thursday both at 2:30pm and cookery classes and craft groups. The cafe serves delicious food but closes at 2pm where as the drop-in is open Tuesday-Thursday 1pm till 6pm
