Howdens - Swindon West

I ordered 4 stay white internal doors. The delivered items were wrong, replacements were sent, which were wrong again. Again replacements were sent and now the colour was wrong and subsequently the stay white doors are no longer available. I asked for a full refund on the doors which I received. I got the doors I wanted from B and Q.

We have just purchased a kitchen from Howdens West Swindon. The service we experienced from the minute we walked in for our initial design consultation to the finished kitchen has been exemplary. The quality of the units is of a hight standard. Whenever we have had to call in to the showroom we have been met with staff that made us feel valued customers and they always went the extra mile for us. We would certainly recommend Howdens West Swindon. Thank you for our lovely new kitchen.

Poor communication - I contacted them over 48 hours ago to request an engineer visit because my fridge freezer has packed up and I still haven't heard back from anyone. Not sure how long I'm supposed to hang on hoping for a call without any food.

Kitchen are fab. I could spend a fortune in there. But we got our flooring from here and it looks, fab. Shame when we ordered the flooring there wasn't enough edging strip. But easily sorted. Helpful people

Met with Matt who was very helpful very informative and was very impressed with the design he has designed for our kitchen. He was very helpful with materials, flooring, and surfaces, thank you very much.

Can't buy a kitchen, if I can't see breakdown cost/don't know what I'm paying for!Had so many mistakes in design, poor customer service took ages to deal with issues, so I gave up.Went for Wren instead and now I have beautiful kitchen and for much lower cost!

Howdens at west Swindon is basically a perfidious company I have dealt with , to start with • it took ages to get the design • as the prices are not mentioned on their website , they just quote what they feel like ,where there is difference of £100-£400. Would likely suggest the buyer to look up the prices on other websites before confirming with Howdens as they are real cons!!• when the item was being refunded , TOM said there are bits missing and wouldn’t even let my husband leave the item saying they are not insured and wasted his time, when I sent out an email asking them to check with the fitter for the missing item as he was the one who packed it for the refund. The missing bits was there in 8 mins and ready to refund!! Also they follow trade only so they can play up being hand in gloves with trade person in conning people.Would never recommend this perfidious company!!

5 stars is simply not enough for howdens - Swindon west, having a new kitchen is extremely stressful however howdens west made everything stress free! From my initial call with John, my design appointment with Connor and my dealing's with the staff stu and Tarlia in the office, it was a pleasure.I went for the Clerkenwell range - very impressed with the build quality and in the words of the fitter (you can't go wrong with howdens!) I didn't realise but I had a non universal sink from my previous kitchen I wanted to use however it wasn't possible, in a bit of panic as this was meant to be fitted that day I rang and spoke to the team and luckily for me they had the sink and tap I wanted in stock!I don't tend to write reviews however I couldn't not with the service I received, everyone went above and beyond to help!Overall I can't recommend Swindon West enough and I wouldn't hesitate in going back for another!Thank you - Swindon West.

Where do I start? My kitchen is ok (after it cost more than most places I got a quote from it should be better than ok), apart from the extractor fan being replaced, my Lamona Dishwasher control panel splitting and the cupboard getting marked by the extractor fan when u open it.If you’re happy to be told to speak to your solicitor just because you ask for the invoice for a kitchen you paid them directly for not your builder then good luck. The kitchen was changed from the plan which meant smaller cupboards were installed. The refund was given to the builder not to me. The attitude of Howden’s West Swindon and Head Office has been shocking. The system they use is obviously open to fraud by builders. I was promised the invoice on several occasions then told I couldn’t have it.I was warned off Howden’s by other kitchen suppliers telling me I had no legal rights and the builder basically owned the kitchen as it’s trade only. If only I had listened to them and not employed a cowboy builder.
