Auto Mechanical & Gailey Recovery Ltd

I had a hired car that suffered a bad blowout. There was no spare or other way to get us going again so I contact the hire company's roadside assistance. They farmed their road side assistance out to AA who farmed the call out to Auto Mechanical and Gailey Recover.I could not have been more pleased with their service. Phil came out, assessed the situation, loaded the vehicle on to his truck and had us ride with him to the local Kwik Fit.He was fast and efficient and took good care of us.

Absolutely disgraceful service! This unprofessional company was sent to my home by the AA to sort a problem after a battery fault. The power steering was not working and the gearbox stays in 1 gear only. They sent an Ill-equipped guy who started the car and turned it off twice, did not drive it nor diagnose the plethora of lights on the dash and then stated “I Don’t know about these Skodas and I don’t have a computer to plug in”. BTW the car is an Alfa not a Skoda! He was here 5 minutes and left.I called the AA again and this despicable company told them that the car is drivable and now fixed!Untruthful, unprofessional and not to be relied upon! Waste of my time and tested my patience!I would avoid them at all costs!

I had a puncture on my motorbike recently and due to an error with the Green Flag App, they gave 2 different recovery teams the same job. One of them was Gailey, so I phoned them and Julie was really helpful sorting everything out directly with Green Flag.The Gailey Recovery guy arrived on time and took great care strapping the bike to the trailer, then took it to a garage 45 minutes away to get a new tyre fitted. No damage to the bike and an excellent service all round.

Fantastic recovery service from Auto Mechanical. They arrived promptly to my car which was stuck in gear, knowing exactly how to get around the problem the vehicle was soon loaded and heading for repair. With a knowledgeable and friendly service throughout this will now be my go-to company for all vehicle recovery. Thanks again!

Excellent service for the price. The driver worked for 2 hours to try and get our car from a ditch after swerving to avoid a deer. They attended almost immediately after calling and tried really hard to cause minimal damage whilst freeing the vehicle. The customer service was excellent all round.

Witnessed a quick, efficient and perfect recovery. These guys arrived so quickly and took hold of the situation effectively, with calm and poise. If we were in the fiesta outside Attingham park, we’d be giving the driver a tip.

I can't thank this company enough, Julie, I spoke to on the phone numerous times regarding breakdown and repair of my vehicle, she is an absolute star and couldn't be any more helpful if she tried. Lou who picked my vehicle was lovely too, was very helpful, knowledgeable and really put me at ease as was stressed at the time to say the least.I don't generally leave reviews but I feel they need a special mention as I couldn't appreciate them anymore than I do. Will definitely use again and will recommend them onto others also.

AA outsourced my breakdown to this company and they didn't even turn up or try to ring me, instead they came up with it's too dangerous to recover him" sorry I didn't realise being parked in a bus stop on a residential estate was so hazardous

Great service, I had my isuzu truck broken in to and it sustained quite a bit of damage.Gailey Recovery picked it up quickly, carefully and on time.Lou was fantastic and she went through all the paperwork with me and assured me they would take good care of my truck until the repair centre came to collect it.
