Smile Dental Care - Eldene

We use this dentist for our family and the dentist lady is very nice. She reassured the kids and asks them if they are ok. She is keen to hear what everyone has to say about their teeth. Nice quiet waiting room. And the wait is not that long. The nurses are helpful. The receptionists are good at what they do too. Only thing wrong is they ring you on your appointment day to cancel it as the dentist wants to go home. Not a good way to do things

They changed my families appointments, did not tell us and then black marked us for being 'no show'. We rebooked, our appointment came around and the dentist was ill, they sent us a message saying the appointments will be rebooked at a later date. We waited eight months to be told when the new appointment was until I called them only to be told as we have not had an appointment with them for so long they removed us from their list and would not re-register us denying any fault. I was left looking for another NHS Dentist for the family, the COVID-19 hit, I still cannot get an NHS Dentist. This surgery has been detrimental to my oral health and has caused issues with my Daughters Orthodontic treatment. The Dentist is nice, admin staff are appalling, I made a complaint to NHS England & General Dentist Council.

Thank you to the fabulous NHS team at Eldene Smile dental practice. The reception team are lovely and my dentist Shiva is always welcoming, reassuring and my recent dental work of an extraction and filling has been carried out perfectly. Plus as it’s covered by NHS dentist pricing bands it really is exceptional service for the money. Thank you Sam, Rachel and Shiva.

First class service. The receptionist was lovely, managed to get me in at short notice, to get a filling replaced. Have always had great treatment here.

I have always had good experiences at this dentists - not sure why it has bad reviews. Apart from the time I was told I had an infection & was given 2 lots of antibiorics.....didn't have an infection at all!! Rang for an appointment today....THEY REMOVED ME FROM THEIR REGISTER BECAUSE I HADN'T BEEN IN A FEW YEARS... .& WITHOUT INFORMING ME!!! How underhand! Does my gp remove me from the register if I am well & have not been for a couple of years? No, they rejoice! I am disgusted. It's also mad that NHS dentists charge! They are NHS! Was I charged by the NHS when I had a tumour removed from the base of my brain? No!

Sat in the waiting area waiting for physio and I’ve just witnessed the receptionists mimicking an old gentlemen that was told to book an appointment for a certain amount of days! I’m thankful the gentleman was not around to witness the appalling lack of client care…. And most importantly the lack of customer service skills..

Hello I’m Katy I just rang smile dental care in eldene Swindon and spoke to a lovely receptionist called Rachel she was friendly polite and really helpful and explained what I needed and booked me in with the correct dentist thank you Katy

Haven’t visited for a while but was pleased to be greeted by a new friendly Receptionist, I think she said her name was Rachel and she was so welcoming and reassuring! She was able to advice me on my next appointment needs for me and my family. My daughter had great service from the dentist too and Shes actually looking forward to returning. Many thanks.

I would just like thank Rachel so much for getting me in to see dentist.she went way out of her way to provide a great service she was a life saver for me because I was in much pain with a abscess.
