Do not touch with a bargepole for repairs.Had a towbar removed a few years ago because they told us it had been poorly fitted. So when the new one they recently put on caused the same problem, took it to them for them to look into it. They charged us £88 for the privilege of looking into their own work- without telling us that it would cost beforehand- and then couldn't find the problem. Of course, they say they did tell me the cost- but why would I put it in if I knew they were going to charge me for it?! No logical sense there.

The staff and Managing Director were very welcoming, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. When I asked about the new Ford Focus 2022, I was pleasantly surprised Lawtons of Tadcaster had a new vehicle, to the specification I wanted, on site they could offer me. The team answered all questions and provided all relevant information I requested regarding the vehicle, cost and part exchange value. I was given space and time to view the vehicle and paperwork provided. All actions agreed on were completed promptly. Communication was clear, relevant and timely. The car was ready for collection as agreed and the handover was not rushed, with all aspects of the car, post purchase inspection at 1500 mile and paperwork being explained in detail. I could not have asked for a better experience. Subsequent to my purchase the dealer has written to me and Stuart has phoned me to see how we were getting on with the car.
