Friendly welcoming staff, Food was nice, hot and served quickly. Prices are on the high side for the portion size if paying the full menu price.They offer Blue Light Discount and the location is great right on the A65 with plenty of parking.

One of the best meals I have had in a long time. The waiter was really nice and catered to our every need.I had the rump steak and it was appsolutely lovely, and had a triple brownie for desert. It was amazing, would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

I was unsure what to expect from here given the overall score it got. We were presently surprised by the lovely experience we had. The service was great with a very friendly waitress and quick service.There was a great choice on the menu with something for everyone, especially vegetarians. The food overall was delicious, I had the vegetarian lasagne, which was really tasty, just a little bit overdone. My Jam rollypolly could have done with a little less time in the oven, too.

I use to love coming here to eat. Staff were always friendly and prompt.However I feel this not the case lately. Staff don't seem to be interested. Always look moody and reluctant to smile. Doesn't seem to be enough Staff when busy. And nobody was paying much attention to what tables were waiting to order. I'm not surprised people didn't get up and walk out.I want to keep eating here as the food is usually good standard, but I feel hesitation as its the Staff and the service that let the side down.

Visited here many many times as its local to us. Went today 30/12/22 with my partner and 2 daughters. It's not fine dining and we know this from previous trips and the food being acceptable. But you get what you pay for so that's fine.In the past we have had a fly on the kids veg sticks, cold sweetcorn partly frozen on the kids side main meal. Burnt chicken on the mixed grille.Still giving it chance as it's decent value we went for dinner. After placing order we were told in the bluntest way ever, 'Hi your Beef Yorkie starter can't be done we have no beef' no apology fair enough( wasn't busy at this time either).Then the mains came out we had Festive Burger. It wasn't served in a sesame seed bun as advertised nor did have bacon or the cranberry sauce as described. What it did have was a side of cold roast potatoes with a cremated pig in blanket on the top with a hard stuffing ball shoved under the semi warm turkey. Only thing warm was the gravy. THANKYOU MICROWAVE.My partner didn't eat any of hers as it was by far worse than mine. Upon politely bringing this to Bryonys attention she said sorry did we want another and we said no and we were not going to pay for this extremely poor food. The picture says it all.Still paid what was owed and told Bryony it wasn't acceptable we don't expect fine dining but that food should have never left the kitchen. She just said sorry again with no genuine feeling behind it at all.Obviously we shall not be going there ever again as we have given it way to many chances.Paul the Manager if you read this please act on it as it was appalling and left me and the my partner feeling angry at how it was dealt with.

Excellent meal the food was served fast fresh and hot. Great service just didn't like where we were put to sit, right at the back end of the pub near a noisey fan you could hear the traffic.

First visit since the rebranding from Brewers Fayre. Staff friendly. Food basic, but hot and tasty. Service slow. Toilets poorly maintained. No locks on cubicle doors. Lukewarm water for hand washing and even colder air for drying.

Poor service obviously no communication between management and staff as different tables were given different information regarding offers on the bank holiday Monday. Long time waiting for food with very few customers in. Food portion size was small please don't expect to leave feeling like you've had a filling meal. Dried up chips barely luke warm and peas barely defrosted. I would not recommend for anyone unless they have absolutely nowhere else to go.
