Very poorly managed store unfortunately. Be careful on pricing, as they don't stock shelves correctly at all and nobody seems to care to fix it. i.e. buying a 16 piece cutlery set that exclusively only has a £16 price on the shelf, will ring in at £22 at the till. There is no £22 price on any display in the entire store. 3 out of the 4 items bought on my most recent trip were stocked with the wrong shelf price sticker so you need to be super conscious as they absolutely will rip you off. Not sure if intentionally dishonest, or just gross incompetence; maybe a mix of both. If I was a Sainsburys regional manager I'd be looking for new management at this location as this store has problems from the top down.

Store manager at lower Clapton didn't have a time to return item bought from another sainsbury store, and rudely directed me to return it to wherever I bought it, and his excuse is bar code error(he don't have time to recall bar code number's from receipt provided by me) , it cost me 2 hours time plus parking fee's to return item.

Used to be okay-ish but recently has become awful. They’ve stopped selling many own-brand basics such as pasta sauces and curry sauces, so you have to buy the expensive branded ones. The shelves are rarely fully stocked which makes it difficult to shop as they often don’t have the items they’re supposed to. They’ve stopped selling cat litter but still sell cat food, which makes no sense. One of the employees once tried to accuse me of stealing, and even followed me to the self checkout and checked the contents of my basket!

Not a huge selection on offer given the store size but various veg in the veg section is often empty (i visit near opening time of 7am)Meal deals are rather lacklustre in choice.Good amount of self service tills and 3 cashier stations so queues shouldnt be too long

Pricier than the Tesco Superstore 10 mins away. Limited selection due to size of store. Concentrates on convenience foods.

Staff are friendly during lockdown they never let the community down always were open. The bakery always punctual in the mornings they have fresh orange and costa coffee machine and you can collect Argos products from there which is a plus.If they had a toilet it would have earned 5 stars.

A wonderful place! I left my wallet there and went back the next day to find it safe and sound behind the till where it was safely returned to me!

Don't order through Uber Eats with this shop. They take out high priced items off your shopping list without allowing you to change your order, then you're stuck with small order fees worth more than £5. What could have been an £8 shopping list turns into £15. Rather than giving the option of cancelling the whole order or changing over items, they just take away the high price items and leave the small ones so that I'm stuck with the fees. I'm sure they are aware that paying £15 for 4 small items is isn't right but they seem happy with taking more money for less. This has happened twice now which now makes me believe it's done on purpose. Delivery via UE is convenient especially for those who aren't able bodied but avoid doing your online shop with this store directly. Use the Iceland store instead.

Great shop always clean, staffs are great. Recently I downloaded the new SmartShop app with the help of Kadir whom introduced and explained me to this new facility and Kadir was really polite, helpful and very friendly.

Usually a great store but I find the new female security person rude. I asked her a simple question and got a no eye contact reply as she was texting on her mobile phone Infront of the security screen .... Very poor
