Parc Singleton Park
Lovely Central Park on Swansea with plenty of open land for dogs and children to run about. Excellent well maintained footpaths through acres of lush trees. Home to a hidden treasure, the botanical gardens within Swansea. Well worth a visit.

What a beautiful place, large open spaces ideal for families and people walking their dogs. The Botanical Gardens are well worth a visit.

Visited after seeing on a website recommendation of thing to do in Swansea.Great playarea with plenty for young and older children - although was very muddy at parts after previous nights rainfall, and we had two unfortunate slip and slide incidents. Our pedal boats were good and clean - lake was cute but sometimes weeds would clog propellor. Gave our legs a good workout. We passed one family who were climbing the fence and abandoned their boat as it got jammed and stopped working. The team were super friendly and helpful who were working there.Kids loved it overall but I felt underwhelmed by the setting/scenic element from what I expected afyer reading description and pictures on website. Its a small local park next to the University and main road.Felt also the Car Park was costly. We could have stayed longer and done crazy golf, but we didn't because we felt it didnt justify paying the extra time on meter.A pleasant morning with happy memories made.

Parc Singleton Park
Great park for a Sunday walk, the dog loves it as she had loads of space to run free which is great as we have a very small garden. Other dog owners were very good with their dogs and very one kept safe and sensible. There is also great views for the humans to enjoy during a walk

Parc Singleton Park
Absolutely lovely park, nice and open with plenty of nature to boot and plenty of room to explore, sit and relax. Not to mention for bird watching! Many interesting birds from Ravens to Thrush! The only problem is during/following downfall there can be some areas which become pooled with water due to insufficient drainage methods

Parc Singleton Park
Wonderful place to visit, plenty of open space. Within the grounds there's a Botanical Gardens which was fabulous. I would have spent more time walking around but it was too hot. I was surprised to find the public toilets locked but found a disabled loo in the Botanical Garden

After seeing this big park on the map of Swansea when we were heading there on holiday we made this park a 'must visit' . Walking from the centre of Swansea along the magnificent Swansea Bay we were very 'underwhelmed' with what Singleton Park actually had to offer when we entered under the arch. We walked up the main wide path but all there seems to be is open spaces. Perfect for dog walkers and cyclists but thats basically it! There is an ornamental garden but when we entered... Where was it? All overgrown plants that were very un kept and a lot were worse for wear. There must have been a festival planned as workmen were erecting fences etc. Walking further through the park it was much the same as the rest... Just big open areas. We then exited onto Brynmill Lane and across to the much better Brynmill Park. Singleton Park was such a disappointment and not worth the visit in my opinion

Swansea has no substantial inner city green spaces, however Parc Singleton, on the South Western edge, is a wonderfully peaceful park, with a mix of mature trees, botanical features, and rewilded areas. The university campus is set into the park, on its southern edge, otherwise it is bounded by urban dual carriageways, and busy roads. You really aren’t aware of this when in the heart of the park.
