The Woodland Nursery - Kidbrooke Park
It must a unique place if our 2.5-year-old daughter from day 1 loved spending days at Woodland nursery despite not having had any previous experience of childcare in group settings and pretty miserable weather to start with. Experienced and passionate staff, and natural environment adjusted to children’s’ needs proved to be a special combination where our daughter made new friends, learned new skills and returned home with a big smile every day. As a parent we also appreciated the management to be flexible around holiday time and keeping us involved in our child’s development via regular updates and suggestions. We really appreciate the spirit of this nursery and recommend it whole-heartedly.

My son had an absolutely wonderful time at the Woodland Nursery. He loved being outside all day and enjoyed the range of creative and practical activities on offer. The whole team are brilliant; they are incredibly caring as well as very skilled practitioners. They pay particular attention to children's interests. For instance, my son has an interest in superheros and he was supported to make all sorts of magical devices using a range of natural resources and tools. I can't recommend the Woodland Nursery highly enough - I am just sad that we have now moved out of London and my daughter won't have the opportunity to attend. Thank you to the whole team for taking such amazing care of Roo. X

The woodlands nursery is a truly magical special place, a nursery that cultivates care & compassion inherent in its teaching, staff & activities. The nursery & staff provide a safe & exploratory environment for children to learn & thrive in, my only wish is that my son had more time there before starting primary school. We're so grateful to have found this nursery thatprovides an alternative to an indoor setting with all activities taking place outside all year round. Children are exposed to nature and the elements, develop lovely friendships. My son has grown in confidence since being here, we feel incredibly lucky that this has been his start into learning and education. We're so sad to have to leave.I highly recommend for any small person and their family, as it provides a wonderful community of parents too.Thank you to all the Woodlands nursery staff for taking such good care of Lazrus and giving him the wonderful experience he's had to date with you, eternally grateful X

Our daughter had the best time at this wonderful little outdoor nursery! The staff is absolutely great with the kids and always treat them respectfully and kindly. The activities are very inventive and go with the seasons. I love the fact that they made fires, use tools such as saws and our house is full of souvenirs. Whenever I picked our daughter up, she was happy and beaming and showing off her creations and she still sings songs from the Theatrebugs and pretends we are all the teachers. Be prepared for a muddy ride and get good clothing/shoes, and your kids can become one with nature's goodness.

This is the most wonderful nursery and educational setting you can think of. Tracy and her team created a world of unlimited creativity, a safe space for exploration and learning through play. My son joined the nursery when he was two and absolutely loved being outdoors, creating stuff with real tools using natural materials, being part of a team project and climbing trees all day long. He was very proud of all his creations and the teachers were excellent at encouraging his imagination. I also would like to empathise how caring the whole team is, they really supported my son in his learning journey and I honestly wish we could have had more time with them. I wholeheartedly recommend Woodland Nursery, we are very lucky to have found such a incredible nursery for our little one and will definitely miss the teachers.

Our son had a magical time at The Woodland Nursery with Tracy and her wonderful team. We couldn't rate the nursery high enough. He enjoyed being outside, making new friends, and learning to use materials and equipment in the natural world. It is a caring and loving community and the team of teachers are extremely dedicated to their job. I would highly recommend The Woodland Nursery to young children who can enjoy learning in the fresh air and having the freedom to enjoy nature. Thank you.

The Woodland Nursery is a wonderful nursery and I can't thank them enough for all the amazing work they did with my son, who has recently been diagnosed with ASD. He had a great time and they nurtured and supported him with lots of creative activities, including making a ladder, a car and lots of other things from wood. The nursery is incredibly caring and nurturing, and the team spend huge amounts of effort coming up with interesting and creative activities for the children. The team developed him with social, creative and educational skills from age 2 1/2 until he left to go to school, aged 4 1/2. They alerted me that he might need speech therapy and they supported me through an ASD diagnostic process. They were completely unflappable with him and utterly supportive when he returned to the nursery after an abortive attempt to start at a pre-prep last year.I will be sending his younger brother to the nursery when he turns two next year. Thank you, The Woodland Nursery.

The Woodland Nursery is an absolutely wonderful place for the little ones! Our son had an amazing journey there. He joined with almost no social skills, with only few phrases in English (English was second language), with lack of confidence, very shy, very sensitive to weather conditions, not wanting to make his hands dirty, not willing to stay outdoor in ugly weather. The team were very supportive and warm hearted throughout the year. I can't thank all of them enough as my son made a huge leap in his development in various aspects. As a result, I now have a very confident, socially relaxed child with fluent English and lots of various other important skills. My son utterly enjoyed time in the nursery. Everyday he brought hand made crafts mainly from wood and other natural resources. But most importantly, he always brought smile and joy from the nursery. He became very attentive to wild life, very gentle with the plants and flowers. He now loves spend time outdoors no matter what the weather is, even in the heavy rain:)) He is not afraid to become dirty or wet, he loves stones and sticks as his main toys. He loves climbing the trees and playing with the water even in the cold weather. The journey was absolutely beautiful! Lots of hugs from our family and hope to see you soon!

An absolutely amazing place that I would fully recommend for your little one. Not only is this a fantastic setting for children to be enjoying the outdoors to its full extent in a very safe environment, but it is also a great place for your child go learn and develop with the help of the most caring and compassionate staff. My daughter particularly benefitted from being in a setting where everyone needed to work as a team in order to enjoy fun tasks, this helped with her social skills, patience and her ability to share. The Woodland Nursery always go that step further and will bring out the best in your child.
