Myself and my beautiful Wife cannot thank Theresa at Hummingbird Events for all the help and effort she put into making our day special. As a typically unorganised couple, we had only 6 months to plan everything for our wedding, but Theresa went above and beyond to make our magical day the best it could be. We cannot emphasise in words how much easier and stress free she made it for us, and it was an honor to have her be a part of our Wedding. We looked through a few wedding planners early on, but Theresa stood out from the get-go for her enthusiasm and patience, and made everything we could envision come to light for our day.The rating system simply doesn't go high enough, if you are looking for someone to help you with any event, we highly recommend Theresa to you

To celebrate the company’s 50th birthday I was tasked with arranging a Work family fun day. All I had was a venue and a few ideas of what I wanted, so I decided I needed some help. I found hummingbird events and the lovely Theresa, thank God I did! With just over four weeks until the big event Theresa worked her socks off to make sure we had a brilliant day. I gave Theresa a rough idea of what I wanted and she did the rest. She has a great knowledge of the events industry and amazing ideas. The day was a complete success with everyone enjoying themselves. On the day, Theresa was there to make sure everything ran smoothly and liaised with the vendor so I could enjoy the day with the rest of my colleagues. If you have an event coming up, no matter how big or small I would 100% recommend Theresa at hummingbird events. We will be definitely be using her for any future events we may have. Thanks a million Theresa, You did a wonderful job.

Thérèsa was an absoute dream to work with on a recent wedding we worked together. As a supplier it is vital we have confidence in the wedding planner to be on the ball throughout the day so we can deliver the best service that the couple pay for. Thérèsa continued to check in with us throughout the day making sure we were happy in not only a professional capacity, but personally as well, making sure we were fed and watered. Communication was fantastic leading up to the day and I felt confident in her knowledge of the event. You will be in safe hands if Thérèsa is your wedding planner and from a supplier's perspective, she is an absolute joy to work with and be around.

We used Theresa and Hummingbird Events for both our wedding, and now our baby shower. Theresa has been incredible both times. Effortless, 0 hassle, made both days run flawlessly for us. WOW! Thérèsa worked so unbelievably hard (and for so long) to create the most memorable and beautiful day for us.Thérèsa is an amazing woman with an absolute passion for love and planning. I have never met a more organised, and attention to detailed person (which is perfect for wedding planning!). She met with us in person and over Zoom regularly to check in with us and update us on progress.Leading up to the big day, Thérèsa kept us calm and supported us. On the wedding day, Thérèsa was with us for nearly 18 hours making sure everything was perfect. Not a single thing went awry and we have nothing but great memories of our special day.We would recommend Hummingbird Events and Thérèsa in a heartbeat and we are already trying to think of other events (and recommending her to others) that mean we could work with Thérèsa again!

Theresa planned our company Christmas party with which was hosted at the RWA and catered for by Papadeli. We had a really wonderful evening and its safe to say the event was a success. Theresa's got excellent communication and is full of wonderful little ideas to make the events feel really special. Thank you very much!

Honestly, hire Hummingbird Events , it’ll be the best decision you make for any event you’re planning!It’s hard to know where to start writing a review for Thérèsa because she was so amazing!! My partner and I got married at my parent’s house in Bristol with 100 guests and I don’t know how we would have done it without her!Thérèsa was our ‘on the day’ coordinator, but was so much more helpful than just the day itself. I scheduled a few hours with Thérèsa about six months before to review all our plans up to that point. This was really useful and Thérèsa's insights and guidance were instrumental in ensuring that we hadn't overlooked any important details.Getting married at home brings the unique challenge of having to hire absolutely everything, and consider whether we’d need a generator/hire toilets etc etc. Thérèsa's experience in event planning is incredible and she immediately put our minds at ease, helping us answer all these questions and work out how guests would move around the house from the moment they arrived.I knew I would like someone to over-see things on the day so I could relax and enjoy everything, but I didn’t anticipate just how incredibly helpful Thérèsa would be leading up to the wedding as well. From the point she came onboard, six weeks prior to the wedding, we immediately felt a sense of relief and confidence that it would all go to plan. She met with us to discuss every detail, and never tried to change what we had envisioned but worked so hard to make it a reality. She took over all the wedding admin, supplier management, and arranging any last minute hires we had forgotten.We had lots of suppliers and Thérèsa took on the liaising with them to check over details and make sure everything was in place. She made a schedule that ensured everyone was in sync on the day itself.Transforming our home into a wedding venue was a massive undertaking. Thérèsa came over the day before the wedding and was there at 8am on the wedding day itself (when I was still in bed - the wedding didn’t start till 2.30pm!) and was already in the marquee setting everything up. She was a joy to be around and such a calming presence during what potentially can feel like a stressful day. She has an amazing ability to get everything done and sort out any last minute changes, all whilst appearing so calm and personable.Before getting married, the idea of a wedding planner or an on-the-day-coordinator seemed extravagant, but in hindsight hiring Theresa was hands down the best use of money we spent! She helped us so much in the run up and wedding day itself, I have no idea what we would have done without her.Of all the suppliers we interacted with, it was also very clear that Thérèsa really cared about us and the day going as we had planned it. She worked SO hard to make everything come together seamlessly and we are forever grateful to her for making our wedding day go just as we’d dreamed.

We worked alongside Theresa at the weekend providing the bar service at a wedding. She was nothing but helpful , diligent and thorough to make sure all bases were covered in the lead up to the day. We had Theresa as our on-the-day coordinator for our wedding at Goldney Hall, Bristol. It was an incredibly smooth experience as Theresa made sure all proceedings went with the plan and liaised with all the suppliers before and during the wedding. We also had some last minute requests and issues due to unpredictable Bristol weather, but Theresa was more than happy to go the extra mile to sort those out and have contingencies in place. On the wedding day we did not have to worry about anything at all and just enjoyed our big day!
