R. Davies & Son Funeral Directors

My family have used R Davies and Son in Gloucester Road for many years. Unfortunately I have had to arrange two funerals within 3 months of each other. I can't praise the company enough, especially Lyn and Catherine. They were so helpful, kind and considerate and always totally professional. Both funerals were carried out exactly as I wished.

R Davies & Son were superb in the sending off of my beloved father. Oliver and the team were all very respectful and kind during a difficult moment in our lives. We were kept in constant contact throughout with Oliver and I couldn’t have asked for a much smoother goodbye to my father. I like to think with my Father living in Bristol his entire life and being born only a few roads down from the Branch in Pitt Road, he would have loved that we kept it with a local company. Thank you all at the Gloucester Road branch!

My parents chose r Davies and sons for their dignity prepaid funeral plans and I am so pleased they did, the staff at the branch couldn't have been any nicer, they guided us through the arrangements every step of the way and were so compassionate at what was a very difficult time. We received a great service from start to finish and even a call the day after the funeral to make sure that we were OK and see if they could do anything else to help, I would recommend them 100% thank you to all the staff at this branch

During this difficult time, the R Davies team were so warm and professional. Our contact, Pete kept in regular contact, explained everything clearly and was able to lighten the mood during our meetings too which was really refreshing. Couldn’t have said goodbye any better and really glad we chose them. Thank you guys, the day was an absolute class act. Mum would have been proud.

My mother used used this funeral directors for my dad 19 years ago I thought I would use them for my mum two years ago I was so pleased with the services they gave me especially Gemma in the office and Catherine on the day of the funeral. They were very polite caring and thoughtful. I had to help arrange a funeral for my gran and suggest to my uncle using R Davies and son and they didn't let us down, I asked for Catherine and again she was brilliant she guided us through it all made us feel most at ease and everyone there said what a lovely dignified polite professional caring person she was nothing was to much trouble for her she kept me well informed all through the arrangements and on the day, even the after care lady called to see how it went chatted to me made me feel at ease and took her time with the call which was nice I would whole heartedly recommend this company to anyone.

R Davies and sons funeral directors were absolutely amazing. Oliver in particular was a saint as far as I'm concerned. He was so caring, respectful and interested in me and my family and my 93 year old mother who passed away in November. He made her funeral service so memorableI can't thank him enough. R Davies & son funeral directors helped us at every stage of planning my Mum's funeral, they were all very supportive, understanding and sympathetic, I dont know how we would have got through it all without them and Mum had the most beautiful send off.
