SA-ZIM Shop Thatcham

SA Zim Shop is good We are lucky to have one on our doorstep in Thatcham , even the British buy Boerewors and Biltong and the SA Crips are pretty good too

Great store under new ownership, the stock lines have increased significantly and the store looks and feels more welcoming.I love their Biltong and other meats and have taken to one of their beers and ciders (others to try !).I had a lemon meringue pie made for me this week and another last week for my parents. We all agreed that it was the best we had tasted. Even after 2 days in the fridge the pastry was still firm and not soggy, the meringue had not collapsed and the lemon was lovely and strong just how I like it. Highly recommended and great value for the size to boot.

Good morning to you. I have been into your shop twice and just feel it offers so little in SA goods. The second time I went in there was less than the first. On both occasions I was pleased to find packet soups, which I used a lot in my everyday cooking in SA

Person serving wasn't very pleasant, stock extremely limited, trying to find parking a nightmare never again

I found this little shop by accident a year plus ago. There I found my most favourite Ouma Muesli Rusks.I hope there are more in stock as I will be there tomorrow. It is a goodly distance from where we live.

Very friendly store keeper ,good service

I bought some drinks and droewors from SAZim. The shop was OK as it looked like all the other South African shops iv been in before, the staff were friendly. I gave it 2 starts as the droewors was horrible, it looked like it was factory packed. It tasted a little bit of garlic which was OK because I like garlic. The texture was like rubber I could snap a piece off I had the tear it off. I felt like rope.

First visit to SA-ZIM & i was not disappointed. . I was greeted by Sarah, who took time to show me around the store & explained the products. The mutton sausage i cooked that night was lovely & fully loaded with flavour. I am done with British bangers now that i have found these.
