Awful and unprofessional quality of service, I'd never recommend anyone getting any work done from them

Had a garden fence erected today and Im very pleased with it. The guys arrived on time and worked very hard and completed it by 1.45pm including removing some old fence posts and lumps of concrete. Well done!

they came they saw they conquered,what a fantastic bunch of lads they did a great job of our driveway which was i could say must have been challenging for them at times ,but you wouldnt have know it nothing was to much trouble for them every little niggle we worried about was sorted,and they all were very polite and obliging,im so glad we choose betts a first class job,a very big thank you from 2 very happy customers.

The workers are brilliant, the owner is foul-mouthed and abusive. We have used this company in the past to have a gate and fences erected with no issue. However, this time we have had fences erected in both the front and the back garden to a value of £1400. One of the back fences fell down within 4 days of being erected which I was fine about and rang and asked for it to be repaired before I settled the bill. The invoice is dated the 1st of June and I rang on the 5th. The owner (Jim) told us that we hadn't paid so once we paid he would fix it. Now, good tradesmen do not expect payment until a job is done and done well. I will not pay until I deem a satisfactory job has been done. He then swore at us repeatedly and arrived to our house to remove front panels which, by the Sales of Goods act 1979, he cannot legally do. He has shouted to our street that we a thieves and are refusing to pay. I'm not, I will pay in my own time in the 30 days I legally have to pay an invoice.

Awful firm. Can't keep to promised schedule, had drive done - after shower noticed there was a large puddle, they came to put right after 4 weeks and there is still a puddle. Aftercare is almost non existent. The only appointment kept on time was when payment was collected - enough said!!!!

Had our driveway block paved by Betts. Finished ahead of time, had a great team working for us in Josh and My middle name is tea" Mel lol. Both very hard working with brilliant attention to detail
