My appointment was punctual which helped my nervous dog. Jonathan knows my dog very well so the examination and vaccinations went smoothly and she was soon relaxed.It has always been reassuring whenever I've taken my dog to Pets at Home Vets, she has received the very best care and welcome.

The staff were super friendly, very efficient and the procedure itself was great. The incision and stitching done on my dog for her spay is incredibly clean and well done. I called the reception with a quick question and they told me to call at any point for reassurance and help which I really appreciated.

Very kind vet who helped us send our very poorly dog over the Rainbow Bridge. Gently and compassionately done. We couldn't have asked for more at such a sad and emotional time.

Jonathan is a very knowledgeable and caring vet. His calm demeanour has always made our cats feel at ease. He took great care to ensure he was offering my cat the best treatment and support for long-term dietary needs during the appointment. Very happy with the service provided, thank you.

I'll start by saying the female vet (Cheryl) is absolutely amazing. She genuinely seems to want to do what's best for the animals and has never been anything other than truly professional and caring. Jonathan on the other hand is clearly trying to simply milk as much money as possible out of customers. My wife even overheard him berating a nurse one day saying they need to push their brands of medications because they get paid for it.On top of that I have had a couple emergency situations pop up as my pet has a chronic health condition and received no care whatsoever. One day while my pet was having a seizure and I was concerned for their life I called and was told they were closing in 20 minutes so there was nothing they could do, and that in 20 minutes time the out of hours vet in the next town over would be open and I could try calling them after they opened. Luckily the seizure resolved itself on its own, but a completely unreasonable response.I've also had numerous issues simply calling through. They have no hold system so the phone just rings and rings. One day I spent over 45 minutes calling before someone picked up the phone. I strongly recommend going to another vet.

Absolutely outstanding team. Last night my french bulldog had major difficulties in labour. Every vet i rang wouldn't help and the ones that did wanted £2500 upfront or the only other thing they could offer was to put mum with pups inside to sleep. I rang vets4pets in Taunton explained my situation and that i couldn't front that sort of money upfront and they didn't care. They told me to come straight in with mum and the 2 pups that were born in the night. As soon as we got there we was put straight into a room and made mum feel comfortable. After more difficulties they needed to do a c section as mum was really struggling. She lost a few pups to her difficulties but because of john and Lucy they manged to save my girl and 4 puppies. They wasn't gonna leave my dog and her puppies to be put down and worked with my finances. The whole team was brilliant even the receptionists who all worked hard to make my dog comfortable. Truly grateful for today. They put my dog and her puppies welfare before money which is very hard to find nowadays. Many thanks for saving my dogs

The waiting area isn't very big and though there are different areas for dogs and cats to wait, they aren't very big or hidden from one another, so I would be mindful if your animal is aggressive. That said, there was no overflow while I was there. The staff were polite, and the vet was knowledgeable and kind. He was able to quickly advise me on information I needed regarding food for my animal that I wasn't aware of, and I was grateful for his expertise. I have only been once, but my experience so far has been pleasant, and I would recommend this vet.

We took our puppy in for his first jabs and his microchip. After being asked who’s name he was being registered into myself and my partner stated to the vet, he was to be registered in my name as our other dog is also registered in my name. We’ve just had a letter from pet log where they’ve named our puppy as my partners which he’s not happy with as we point blank stated he was to be registered to me. Now vets4pets are being VERY difficult and are stating they cannot change the name on the account whereas when we’ve called pet log direct they’ve told us that vets4 pets HAVE to rectify this problem and mistake they’ve made. Vets4 pets are telling us we have to pay 20 pound to correct the mistake they made. Absolutely disgusting that we were not listened to and they’ve registered our puppy to who they would like rather than who they were told to register him too.
