Great!I had a heavyweight Carhartt workwear jacket that needed some very specific repairs. It cos £75 for a zip replacement (they even managed to keep the zip slider from the original which I specifically wanted), both sleeve cuffs had major repairs, a logo patch replacement and a hole repaired. The staff are super friendly and called me when it was ready. Would recommend, happy days

Have recently had 3 items altered. Absolutely faultless service. Extremely professional, but friendly and value for money. Good service is so hard to find. Definitely worth the trip across to WB .

I have now twice been told an alteration would cost x and then the price has risen for no reason.I took some jeans in a couple of weeks ago to have the hems taken up and was quoted £14. I needed them a week later to wear and the lead time was weeks so I took them away to wear and returned today to leave them to be altered. Today I was quoted £17. Not because they have put prices up but because I was apparently given an incorrect price the first time. This has happened before when I called to check the price for a simple hem shortening and was quoted a cheaper price than when I arrived at the shop. Again, no reason, nothing complex. There really is no excuse when the item is on the counter in front of them and different people quote different prices.There was no apology and they don’t care whether you go ahead or not as they are busy enough. It was a real inconvenience for me though,I contacted Stitched by Oonagh in West Bridgford who has great reviews and she quoted £10 for the alteration.. a big difference.I won’t be returning to Zip and Hems. It’s a shame as they did a great job of some trouser hems for me and a moth hole but their pricing is too high and unreliable.

I would highly recommend zips and hems. They are so good at looking into the details and making sure that they do everything exactly how you want and to the best of quality. It’s always a pleasant experience going in.They have always made me a happy customer and I am always extremely satisfied with all my edited clothes.10 out of 10

I took two unusual alteration requests - to convert common ebay house curtains into bespoke curtains for the cab windows and the sunroof of our campervan. They understood the requirement & used their professional skills to design the details & deliver a result far better than I'd expected (and would have been satisfied with) and incomparably better than we'd have achieved ourselves - at a fair price and in a reasonable timescale.We're so, so happy to have hired these professionals and their workmanship brings us joy every single night we use the modified curtains so we're very happy to recommend this team - Zips & Hems are not the only things they do excellently well!

The staff members were very knowledgeable and friendly.The turnaround time for my suit repair was surprisingly quick, considering the amount of work involved.When I received my repaired suit, I was very happy with the outcome. The suit looked as if it had been custom-made specifically for me. Highly recommend

We took an old and battered swing chair canopy to make two copies from some fabric we found on the internet. Zips & Hems made 2 identical copies with holes for the frames and the sewing and finish was a very high quality. We are very happy with the work done and would use their services again without hesitation. Great job.

Absolutely incredible service. Helped me make my bridesmaids dress fit better, and you can't even see the alterations made. Highly recommend!
