Had a number of full English breakfasts from the Herdsman, through Deliveroo. Food always arrives piping hot, everything cooked perfectly, and more than I can manage on some occasions. Really good food.

The food provided good value and the staff were very friendly.On this particular visit we ordered the steak and Cajun potatoes and salad, and were happy with the quality of food and value for money. Will probably call again to sample the legendary Sunday lunch.

Lovely, friendly pub. Great chess club held there and I've heard the darts are good too. Reasonable prices (and very good food) and the staff / owners are all great. Would definitely recommend

After being humiliated and made to feel like a stray dog by the arrogance of the new owner of Snooker Club (Qclub), this place let us use their function room without any questions asked. We started decorating the party hall and I took the picture of the Landlady's grandson off the wall, and she never had the slightest grumble, instead, she was very accommodating. I sincerely apologise for not asking her permission. She even said goodnight before retiring to her place upstairs, what a kind and pleasant woman. Same goes with the Landlord, what a gentle man. Thank you both for saving our Filipino Christmas Party.

Food cooked beautifully. No fancy food here just well cooked, freshly cooked good pub food. The steaks are especially great value for money and cooked exactly as you ask. Drinks at good price. Friendly local people. Bit like Cheers -where everybody knows your name!

Afraid I can only rate it on Breakfast (which is served all day). Had the Big Breakfast and was delicious, all items well cooked (especially fried eggs) and no greasy plate left at end. Would definitely recommend.
