I've moored my ketch here and other mooring neighbors are both friendly and helpful.

I share a Mayland Kingfisher (Deep Joy III) with my friend Nick, we have had it moored at Highway Marine for the past two years. Highway marine is a great place, very well run and maintained. The owners and staff have all become good friends, nothing is too much for them, they are always there when you need something and offer the highest of and quailty and service. Our thanks to James and Nigel for their continued support.If you have tried the rest, try the best ; Highway Marine you will not be disappointed.

I have used Highway Marine for the last twenty two years. Over that time I have had a veritable plethora of craft berth/stored with them including kayaks, ribs, motor boats and sailing yachts. My present sailing yacht is moored with them at the current time. I have always found all of the staff to be very knowledgeable, professional and helpful. James has always dealt with me in a honest and fair manner. I trust his judgement and advice implicitly. The work he and his team have carried out for me in the past has always been completed to the highest of standards and his honest and helpful advise has often enabled me to carry out work myself thus saving me many hundreds of pounds. The atmosphere and vibe at the yard is friendly and ‘buzzy’. There’s always someone to talk to and always someone to offer advise and lend a hand. I would have no hesitation in totally recommending this boat yard/marina to any person looking for a berth, hard standing or work to be carried out on their craft.

Whilst we didn't actually moor here, the staff that we spoke to were very friendly and helpful but unfortunately they didn't have space for us. Looks to be a busy boatyard with most of the facilities you might require apart from a chandlery

My father and his friend joined this marina last year and paid £1,600 pounds upfront to his personal e mail and told he could have temporary berth until his new one could be found he is 66 his friend is 71,,,,, when it was constructed after some 6 weeks he was expected to climb a wall at 4 metres high covered in green slime and both in bad health with all their fishing gear, when they complained and asked for another berth so they could manage easier they was told we do not give rebates look in to your contracts, the final e mail for payment was made through his company and subsequently paid by them so not brought to their attention, they were then informed they would only receive a rebate when the berth was let again to which we know its been let through the entirety as seen by berth holders on site they argued over the phone with total aggression and threatened court action should he decide to pursue for some recompense we have never herd from them since nor any kind of a rebate so my warning to any one wishing to take a mooring here is be very careful what you wish for as it may be completely different once the money has been paid they left strictly due to a very dangerous mooring for 2 elderly gentleman that the marina did not give a hoot forTHINK very carefully when agreeing a mooring hereSally

We were sold a boat on the verbal undertaking given on three occasions by Highway Marine that the boat only needed a good clean". Actually the boat engine has a cracked block
