Halfords - Suffolk Retail Park (Ipswich)

I went to the shop back in Dec 2022 when my windscreen washers stopped working due to icy conditions. I suspected it was a fuse issue.I was waiting for around 45 minutes before being attended to. The guy who came to investigate the issue was so cold. It was clear he was irritated at even wanting to have to look at my car. Anyway, he dismissed my suspicions that it was a fuse issue and told me it was an issue with the motor.Unfortunately I haven’t had a chance to get the car fixed until now in July 2023 and I’m fortunate I don’t use it (I work from home plus cycle as well). It meant I could wait for the annual service and MOT to get it fixed. I’ve finally got it fixed at a garage that’s very professional and turns out it was a fuse issue indeed!I usually go to Halfords go get things like wipers and headlights, but never again. The staff downstairs in the motor section have got a chip on the shoulder, especially the men.I’ve encountered staff upstairs in the cycle section and they are usually much more pleasant and helpful.

Paid over £300 for a dash cam and install. Worked for a one week and no longer works. Halfords failing to take any responsibility whatsoever for the return. Don’t want to know. Being pushed from customer service, to store, back again to customer service. Establish does have a fault by one branch, branch I purchased at disagree and will not exchange for one that works. Total waste of money and strongly recommend to shop elsewhere!

Best service ever!!!! Phil filled with energy greeted us as we entered the door, Hannah was ever so efficient to assist us with our purchase, Zak cheerfully fitted both the brake light bulbs in less than 5 minutes and Phil facilitated the payment with friendliness and was fast. Blown over by this beyond best service ever!!! Well done Halfords Ipswich.

Staff did a great job advising me on some new tyres for my bike, reasonably priced and fitted within half an hour. Took the bike out today with no issues, thanks guys.

Excellent service, 40 minutes waiting for the works, but that’s on me because I turned up unannounced, popped over the range for a coffee. On returning the chap had his toolbox beside my car ready to start. New battery and improved headlights bulbs fitted within 15 minutes.

Sam was really helpful - we needed some help with finding the right bike accessories and he explained all of the options clearly! Will definitely come back when needed :)

Thanks to Marcus for fitting my wheel repair in so quickly. It’s nice to deal with enthusiastic and helpful staff. I will definitely be using this branch again. Lots of parking and great customer service.

On line ordering was straightforward and communication during the delivery process was effecient. Collected in store with no issues.
