Iceland Supermarket Colchester

Good value for money. The only criticism: not enough staff on the tills. I and lots of other people had to queue for a long time.

Called into this store today to do some shopping, when I got to the till their was only one oprator (cir 1:15pm), the young lad was serving while his mate (tall lad early 20s black hair and tattoo on his lower arm) was standing behind him chatting to him about what he want for his break (explaining that he found a product in the freezer and he can have this on his break after he has written this off and defrozed this!) and carried on the discussion while the queue built up. You can tell he did not care about customer service by opening another till, I just walked out and left the shopping basket on the floor and want past him, he worked this out. Last time I call into this branch as lost my trade.

Nice staff and I think good value items.

I like Iceland for in spite of the cost of living elsewhere they try their hardest to keep price rises to a minimum

Not a bad store, hidden away and always understaffed.

It's ok but staff really do need to be mi dful of opening up more tills at busy times

Overcharged on box of teabags price shown was £4.60 paid £5 - didn't realise till I got home.

It's Iceland, not huge variety of ambient foods, but all essentials available. You're their for the frozen food, pricing keen, lots of offers. Better than aldi/lidl in some respects

Visited today around 2:20pm. The young gentleman at the tills couldn't care any less. He was more interested in playing around with a female colleague. Didn't say hello or anything and ate some sweets whilst serving me. The only communication we had was him asking if I wanted the receipt then didn't even saying good bye or anything. Real bad image and visit for what is usually a good store with great prices.

Always decent experience. Great all rounder. Sometimes not enough staff and loads of empty tills with one long line to one manned till. The staff do great through and go the extra mile.
