Well what can i say toffee nosed stuck up people does not even come into it absolutely judging a book by its cover because we turned up in a part converted camper and was frowned upon and when i said we just want somewhere to stay have a meal and fish overnight and was told the grass is to wet and the chef had left the pub just as they were recieving a food delivery .i would not stay here ever pompous attitude towards 3 grown men with steady jobs and families DISGUSTING AVOID THIS PLACE UNLESS YOUR A CHELSEA TRACTOR DRIVER H

Excellent dog walk.Facilities very dated. No shower curtain in the ladies which means that the water runs across the main part of the concrete floor whenever someone was in the shower . Pitches are nowhere near large enough. Timer on the lights in the facilities could be longer, they went out when I was in the shower.The site is next to the A5 and the road noise is horrendous.The site itself is nearly full of seasonal pitches and felt a bit like a transit camp.Altogether not a comfortable experience.

I haven't stayed there yet but Betina whom I've been dealing with online is so very helpful. I've booked two nights there later this week and I'm so looking forward to it.

First impressions very good. Owners and daughter very pleasant and very chatty. Good sense of humour. Afraid thats where it ends.pitches to close and contravening saftey regs. Should be minimum 6 mtr between awning and next van. We had 4. Far too many seasonal, handful of touring. Obvious all seasonals are friends and for 2 nights noise until midnight. Fair do the lady owner was going to sort it. I hope she keeps to her word. Its not fair on others. Showers not very warm. Could do with a very good make over.Shame with such a lovely setting.

Nice quiet site beside the river there's canoeing,,fishing,,and nice walking,,the wingfield pub is adjacent and the food and service is great as Shrewsbury's is only 4 miles away
