Has a good car park (£2 all day) with lots of country walks starting from there.The old water mill is open 4 days a week and well worth a look around

Heron Corn Mill
Beautifully preserved old mill. Still operational with demos at scheduled times and educational displays around the mill. The barn next door is a lovely little stop off to have a drink and rest after one of the pretty local walks. Seating inside or out. The Mill also sells a useful walk booklet detailing these. Parking asks for a £2 donation for a day's stay.
