What a brilliant bookshop! Great stock, knowledgeable staff. They will advise, order anything, lovely cards. Even offered to let me gift wrap my books. Really great ambience too.

I ordered a signed copy of a book late on a Tuesday afternoon which arrived on the Thursday beautifully wrapped in brown paper with a gift tag personally addressed to me with a message. Wow this is customer service!!

As Spanish residents, we've found that Brexit has severely damaged our ability to send presents to UK friends and family. Yes, we could order gifts through Amazon UK and send untaxed profits overseas. But when we wanted to give a book to a young friend in Crediton, The Bookery was the ideal choice. A couple of brief emails and the book was ordered and ready for collection from the shop - gift wrapped too. Highy recommended!

This bookshop provides an excellent service. I tried all over the UK to get a children’s book for my grandchildren. No one could help me, but CCB went the extra mile! They sourced the book and promptly posted it, beautifully packaged to my grandchildren in Scotland.I will most definitely use them again.Thank you so much for your quality, friendly service.
