Carvery used to be very very good, but over the few years it has been not as great as it used to be. All the made to order dishes and puddings and desserts are very good. With the carvery the meats are generally OK considering it's quite cheap, you get beef, turkey and gammon. The veg always changes and this visit there was no broccoli and cabbage but there was a lot of alternatives. For example there was Mediterranean veg which is quite unusual but caters for different wants I guess.

Fabulous food and the staff should be commended! Kate & Tim in the kitchen and Gavin at the carvery. A friend and I had the Christmas carvery last Friday and it was superb. Only 4 for the atmosphere as very few people there at 12pm. I expected a few more people, but it didn't detract from the food. Wonderful.

Went for a carvery today with my sister and daughter, the food was spot on, the beef was cooked to perfection, Dan did a great job today, they were extra busy with Xmas parties, so a good atmosphere. Gavin was also helping out by clearing tables and asking if we were OK with everything.Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Daily carvery for a nice and the service is good.They are very allergy conscious too.I’m terms of decor it’s very traditional and looking a bit tired, but nothing major.On the whole I’d come again.

Today I went to Severn Gorge for the first time with my friend who lives in Telford. We went in this gentleman served us nicely and politely. Inside and outside were so beautiful and very clean everywhere. Lot's of places to park your car including disable parkings. It's in a pretty central location and close to all other trademarks and shopping venues. I definitely recommend this place. The only negative thing I noticed were that in very hot weather of 24degree hot the beer we got wasn't cold and it was warmish which really didn't lik3 and enjoyed it

Fantastic service, asked if there was any allergies, brought me clean cutlery and cleaned the table for me. Food was piping hot very tasty great portions size and with quick service. Staff very friendly and went above and beyond to cater to my allergy.

Stopped in on my way back to Birmingham for some dinner, my son had a curry and I had the surf and turf. Both dishes were very tasty, nice pub with friendly staff. Thank you Kate and Gavin for the nicely cooked food and friendly service.

Fantastic Sunday Carvery. Cheap but so filling! Came with 4 people and were served quickly by Gavin and the meat was perfect by Tim.And the bar was lovely served by Amelia.Will definitely return again!

Last visit (over a year ago) to here resulted in a one star rating for the friendly staff, and no stars for the food, but as I've returned today with friends, I've had the carvery again Had the turkey which was nice, veg was to my liking, not overcooked as last time, still with a bit of bite, but some of it a bit on the cold side, the stuffing much improved from my last visit, resulted in a much better meal, sweets ordered were great. Not a perfect visit due to could have done with better seating arrangement for a large party. Hence four stars.
