Had everything we needed.We didn't meet the owners but had a message telling us where our keys had been left.There is parking at the property.The room had lovely 4 poster bed and a huge jacuzzi bath.Continental breakfast was offered but we declined. It's only a short walk to fort Augustus and there are a few nice places to eat.

Communication with the owner was terrible. After sending several emails which remained unanswered we finally received a reply the morning of our arrival. We were told that because of ongoing licensing issues we would receive a refund because of not being able to get a cooked breakfast. That was a month ago and we still haven’t received it. Certainly wouldn’t recommend this place to stay.

We could not have enjoyed our stay any more. A fantastic breakfast and a friendly reception from our host. Knowledgeable too and gave us some interesting local facts and Scottish folk lore . Fascinating, friendly, could not recommend any more. We both agreed we could have remained there for another day or two purely based on the above. 5/5

We stayed only for 1 night, but it was an excellent stay, very comfortable room and beds, it was warm and we had a nice breakfast. The location is just perfect, very close to the city center. Highly recommended!

Just what is needed after days in the saddleA bungalow type building with ample parking but as it is in an elevated position, with only a small sign, it can be easily missed from the road. Note that there was no secure parking for motorbikes but the parking is not immediately adjacent to the road. The B&B is ideally located, a short walk into town but away from the throngs of visitors. Check-in is contact free with instructions given via email but if, like us, you miss it, there are phone numbers posted, so that you can speak directly with Alasdair, the host. The room was large, comfortable and clean with a four poster bed. large screen tv, decent wifi and a large bathroom with twin jacuzzi bath. Breakfast is in a separate dining area and you arrange a suitable time with the host. The cooked element of the breakfast is served via a hotplate and therefore you can eat as much as you like and there was certainly plenty there. Alasdair was also more than happy to help us out with planning our evening, or any other activities. All in all, a very enjoyable relaxing stay.

Cannot understand previous reviews of 'Great hospitality' when you don't even meet the host!There appears to be something extremely fishy going on here.  Had booking for one night on our hike of Great Glen Way, and ON THE MORNING of our booking they email me to say they have lost their licence to provide food so we would get 20% refund through Booking.com but a breakfast bun could be delivered to our door instead.  If that was not acceptable we could have refund to book elsewhere.  Excuse me!?  On the day of our booking!?  Hardly likely.  Taylor said she 'normally' delivers the breakfast at 8am....hence clearly they did not just know of this issue this morning as she told me.  No fresh coffee only the sachets in the room.No money was refunded until I chased through Booking.com. Seems they hoped we'd forget.Other comments:1.  There is nothing whatsoever 'deluxe' about this tiny room.  No seating whatsoever.  Tiny bathroom.2.  Tiny bath towels and one tiny hand  towel for both of us.3.  Heating is turned off so nowhere to dry towels.  Electric heaters provided marked 'DO NOT COVER'.  I raised this over the phone with 'Taylor'.  Alisdair was nowhere to be seen.4.  Nowhere to hang clothing at all if you have any wet gear.  Only drawers.5.  No bottled water.6.  The tiniest kettle I have ever seen and it has seen a lot of use.7.  Claims of 'Covid protocol' as an excuse for not greeting us in person.  We have been hiking in Scotland for two weeks now and this is the first place still claiming this.  Others have been very welcoming with excellent, home cooked breakfasts.8.  Lots of noise from adjoining rooms and possibly rats in the wall.

So good, great size room for us both, power bath lots of bubbles. Big tv to chill out at night. Coffee and tea In the room. Great location.

Loved it here.. excellence throughout. Safe covid protocols and wonderful stay. Alasdair is a wonderful host and the room I stayed in was spotless, well appointed, fantastic facilities and the best four poster bed I have ever slept on and slept better here than I do at homeI opted for the room with the jacuzzi which is amazing. The breakfast was really good, lovely ingredients cooked to perfection. Thankyou Alasdair for a lovely stay and your tips on viewing Loch Ness, I would have missed a treat without that tip. Thankyou

Arrived at not what I’d call an unreasonable time of about 5:30, wandered round what seemed to be an empty house, all of our party wandered round with no idea what rooms we were staying in after trying a few doors the owner or manager appeared from his room where he had been asleep. He was freindly enough and told us which rooms we have and that breakfast would be served at 8:30 and he’d bring it to our rooms. The rooms were very pleasant, clean and modern which is why it received 2 stars. It is 9:15 as I write this and there is no sign of anyone or any breakfast.
