Held our Christmas lunch here in their private room yesterday. They had really set it up well for us and Megan arranged for us to be looked after throughout the afternoon. The atmosphere and food was great and we all had a fabulous time. Will definitely be looking to book again. Thanks everyone.

A lovely pub for a Sunday roast, plenty of space, including lots of outdoor space. The food was really good and the service pretty good as well. Although the last time we went it was a VERY busy Sunday so the staff were a bit stretched so a little slow but still very attentive. Car parking can be difficult at busy times, there is a car park thats pretty big, just a lot of customers!

Went to the Duke for a company dinner. The food was fantastic (I had the pork belly for my main). The dessert was to die for! I had the chocolate bomb; you HAVE to try it. The service was equally good; friendly and attentive. I'll definitely go back!

Last night our big table of 17 people attended the dukes head. A mix of children and adults. It was so well organised. We had all pre selected our food and we were all served at the same time. We were very welcomed and made to feel like nothing was too much. We also felt like our server who was called Corrah was only serving us. But she actually had lots of other tables too. she was amazing! The food was lovely and we didn’t feel like we were rushed off our table even tho there was so many of us eating. Then afterwards they were more than happy to accommodate us and the children in the main bar area. Natalie the land lady is so lovely and runs her team so well. You can tell just how much they love working for her. We can’t wait to go back again when they have the Sax player in the new year! Thanks for a great night! Sally x

Excellent service from Donna the waitress & manager Meghan very professional & made us feel welcome. Food was excellent 1st class meal. Would recommend..comfortable surroundings Thank you Dukes Head staff for lovely evening.

Bread board had 4 slices of bread. Other than that food was lovely. Men’s toilets were disgusting. Lino skirting boards in cubicle worn away revealing dirty stones beneath. Doesn’t give a premium feel at all with those toilets. Service was added on the bill already for a table of 2.

The burger was absolutely amazing, I cannot wait until we go back again. The millionaire fries which have bacon and truffle cheese is pure heaven. There is also a beef gravy which is delicious. Next time I will be having a full 3 course meal. They also know how to make a good Old-Fashion cocktail.
