Tide Watersports - Kitesurfing School & Shop

Had a great learning session here with Mike. Optimal location makes it easy to kite pretty much regardless of wind direction. I was picked up at Ramsgate train station and dropped off, which was very convenient.

Awesome day out with Mike, loved it.Got a more than a full lesson and managed to get up and running (a bit!)Loads of positive input.The school has a really good focus on not just getting up and running but being safe whilst you’re out there.Great fun, great kit and top instruction.Can’t recommend them enough.

Had an absolute blast with my lessons with Morgan and Mike so far! They managed to strike the perfect balance between instilling all the vital safety stuff and sharing in your stoke when their teaching points start to click. Can't wait to get up and riding for the season ahead.

Highly recommend Tide Watersports for anyone interested in kitesurfing. Have had several lessons now with Tide water and have enjoyed them all. Mike and his instructors are very knowledgeable as well as patient and reassuring- which i have valued as there is so much to learn and a huge range of skills to develop. Also, Mike runs a good business so customer service has been excellent- ie quick and useful communication, good range of lesson availability, and learning within the lessons that is meaningful. I have looked at other kitesurfing schools in the uk and have found myself chasing them up. This hasn't been the case with Mike at all as he is proactive in responding and this makes you feel he is passionate about teaching kitesurfing.

We had a private lesson with my partner. It was excellent. Very easy communication with the team during booking and great instructor. The bay is also perfect for watersports, good location.

Great teaching methods with all the latest technology like radio headsets to keep in contact on the water, and full quiver of latest kites from core kiteboarding.Super friendly and highly skilled teachers. Also you become a part of the ‘tide’ kitesurfing community on WhatsApp where we all talk about when and where to go out so we can all look after and help each other

We took a beginner lesson this weekend with Ray and Mike and it was fantastic!Really comprehensive intro session that covered all of the safety aspects and the basics really clearly.We’re looking forward to our second lesson to build our skills up even more!

Really unique kitesurfing school in the UK - while most centres in the country feel business focused, Mike has created a real community around the sport and organises events to get everyone connected. Really appreciate this, had a great time and will be a returning customer for sure!

I’ve taken a few sessions with Tide Watersports. The instructors are very friendly and easy going. They always keep you very motivated, focused and with the right determination to go on.I really like they always explain things the right way and know the different steps to take on to ensure you are always safe and become an independent rider.Looking forward to the next one.
