Waited too long for food. I was sat down for 10 minutes to give it time to come out. Then went to queue. Another 10 minutes for one tray to come out (image shows empty trays). Was told what I wanted was another 15 minute wait.Chatter around the seating areas was the same. Slow service and poor flow of food. So not a “buffet”.Couple of items were poor as it seemed they rushed it through and was poor quality.Couldn’t recommend you go elsewhere more.

Amazing staff super friendly can’t do enough for you. Really accommodating and attentive. Come here every week. Can never fault the carvery deck always fresh veg, meat is always cut beautifully. Overall a lovely meal. Adam our waiter was excellent, George who was hosting was really friendly and couldn’t be more happy to help us.

Great service by Adam, there wasn't anything too much trouble with 3 young children. Food was lovely after a long drive, well presented. Although we did have to wait a bit due to a big party, but we didn't mind.Great place to come and visit with fab food.

Poor service!!I took my family there the first time 20/10/2023. Everything was ok until we paid by voucher. The staff scanned our voucher, it didn’t work and she said that was a FAKE voucher in front of us. Some guests nearby heard it and looked at us. After we explained, she borrowed our phone with the voucher in it to show the manager or the cashier. She came back with an annoying face said it worked without saying sorry to us. She even asked us to show the voucher before eating next time!We came back today( 4/12/2023). I showed my Dining out card right after entering the restaurant, the staff said no need to do it, I can show it at the end. After eating, I checked the bill and found it was wrong. The staff took the bill and my card for a while, she came back gave me the card deducted and said done. I didn’t have a chance to confirm the bill again and hadn’t showed my birthday code £10. When I showed my birthday code, she said the payment had done already and couldn’t do anything with my code. I was shocked.The food and the decoration in restaurant is ok but the service is really poor. I had rather bad experiences here.

Standard Toby brand service levels and food quality. A known brand at a known price. It can get very busy and even when booked, you may end up waiting for your table. Meat quality was good but meat was sliced very thinly; I was both impressed with the skill but disappointed with the portion. One breeze and it would have flown off my plate. For the price (Sunday price), I expected more to be honest.

Lovely staff, very friendly and warming. Had personable conversations with us and made us feel comfortable. All the staff were lovely and deserve massive praises. Dinner was lovely, pigs in blankets were a bit overpriced and chewy but we can live with that. All in all a lovely experience

A lovely building and plenty of car park spaces for the size. The carvery was lovely. Great tasting meat and the veg was much warmer than other carveries that I've been to. Service was professional and friendly.The only down side to the visit was that we had to teenagers that don't eat much and there wasn't an option for a smaller carvery. We had to pay full adult price for two children who don't eat much from a carvery.Refillable drink well priced with a good range.

Booked as a group of 13 as a christmas meal out with our citizens. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Shoutout to Marie for serving us and Lewis and the kitchen team for a delicious meal. Couldn't of asked for a more enjoyable meal.

We went there for a bite to eat after my Nan's funeral, they were really helpful, the place was very clean and the carvery was spot on.The waitresses recommended desserts for us (so we got four instead of just one) and was very prompt and polite. thank you to all the staff there. A very nice Tony inn.
