Holiday Inn Bournemouth, an IHG Hotel

Extremely angry. The room and service were adequate and acceptable - but I was double charged.On arrival, the desk took more than the agreed amount in payment in case there were to be additional charges for the restaurant. I was told that if there were not additional charges, the difference would be refunded on checking out.Instead, on checking out I was charged the agreed room rate - on top of the full amount taken when I checked in. This double booking could easily have pushed me into overdraft territory at the bank.When I called to sort it out, they were not remotely helpful, and simply said I should call the bank.

A fantastic hotel in the heart of the city centre of lovely Bournemouth. Our room was spacious, very clean, and had a gorgeous sea view. Service is brilliant, and staff are very friendly and hospitable. Location is superb, as it's shortly located to the beachfront and local amenities. Breakfast is delicious, too! I would highly recommend Holiday Inn, and I will definitely book with them again.

The staff really made this stay for us. Very friendly and very helpful, great with the kids.Rooms were good, if a little cold, watch out for water everywhere in the bathroom when having a shower (due to bad design).Location was really good, a 10 min stroll to the pier and beach attractions.Food was really good and again staff in the bar were excellent.

I am very surprised by this hotel. How nice and fresh and stylish it is. As soon as you enter most 4* hotels you feel smell. Smell of food, of old" everything. In this hotel no smell even at breakfast time. This is what proper hotel is. Rooms are new. Towels are good. Bed and linen very good. There is safe

Stayed here for 2 nights and I cannot recommend it enough . The hotel was so clean and tidy . The rooms were the same. The bed was comfy and also in the room it has an ironing board, iron and a hairdryer . The staff were just amazing . So helpful and polite and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be returning!

Great for a three star hotel. We paid over the odds as booked last minute to take advantage of the good weather, but enjoyed our stay here. Hotel clean, modern, with decent parking (albeit expensive charges). Room service could be better - was a bit slow and I was shocked at the £5 charge for delivering to a room! But overall food, including breakfast was really good. Would stay again.
