Glencoe Lochan Trail
What a delightfully peaceful and beautiful place! An easy hike, though the blue uphill is a bit more effort if you want / don't want that. There were picnic tables and I wish I'd planned more time to stay longer and relax!

Glencoe Lochan Trail
A really well maintained, easy to get to walk in a stunning location. There is ample safe parking and a well described route map. There are 3 designated circular walks ranging in difficulty. The easiest of the 3 is fairly flat and level around a lake, pushchair, and wheelchair friendly, although you will get dirty wheels.

Glencoe Lochan Trail
Great hiking trail, there are a few paths (easy, medium and hard) , and a few lead to the beautiful lake with wild life (ducks and goose). The lake area is perfect for photos. Some part of the path is fully covered with trees, which is cooler than the other areas. Some path is quite hilly and steep.

If you are passing through this area, it's worth paying a visit. Amazing scenery with a mild hiking trail. Google map stopped a few meters before in the middle of nowhere. We had to identify the parking spot, which is free. Colorful trees around the lake with clear water makes the entire trail enjoyable.

Glencoe Lochan Trail
Lovely simple hike (red) , was looking forward to seeing the beautiful lake but apparently there was some dam maintenance which caused the dam door to be stuck open & the lake is drained. But over all still a lovely place for a simple hike. Drive all the way in and there’s a free carpark, just be careful as the road is narrow especially if there’s car coming in the opposite direction to slow down and keep to the side. Hope the dam get filled up soon! Enjoy! - 1st June 2023

Such a hidden gem with great landscape and varied degree of hiking trails. We did the basic Red trail in the rain and it was very pleasant, not muddy or slippery. We met elderly hikers, all seems to enjoy the walk. The rain added a misty magical vibe.. very lovely.

Well-cared for trails. Beautiful wooded area. Hikes perfect for the family, as well as a little more challenge. More of a leisure grouping of walking trails. One has some elevation change, but all can be done in a shorter amount of time!

Glencoe Lochan Trail
As American visitors in Scotland we stumbled upon this trail, looking for a family friendly hike that our 3 year old could do safely and my older parents could do that would still have great ambiance and views. This was it! It was a beautiful stroll, not too long and relatively easy to do for all involved. The history of the trail we didn’t learn until we left, so that’s a fun fact as well! The parking was easy and very convenient. A prefect hike for the low experience or romantic stroller.
