Bannatyne Hotel Durham
Stayed here many times as a base for Durham and surrounding area. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Have use of Bannatynes gym, pool and spa whilst here for no additional cost. Food good and hotel well maintained.

Stayed on our way home from Scotland and our honeymoon. The atmosphere is really calm and relaxed. The staff are exceptional and the room was super. Little bit out of town but £10 taxi trip was great. Really great stay thank you all.

Staff lovely.No air con, so have to open the windows and listen to A1 all night.Family rooms had beds that were so hard that my kids were awake all night.Attached spa/gym was pleasant, with nice food but prices were sky high. £48 for breakfast for 2 adults and 2 kids.

It's not so great this time, especially for a returning customer. Paid for a premium room but was disappointed. The room was smelly, the mattress was deeping in the middle, and the cleanliness was below par.

Great priceOnly 8 min taxi ride from durham centre.Staff very welcoming abd accomodating.Rooms were spotless and roomy.Will use again

Bathroom small but functional. Room large. Weird having to go over to the spa for breakfast. Food was good but one day took an age as really not enough staff on.

Room ok, a couple of small deficiencies in the room. Nothing major. Decent enough size room compared to say Premier Inn.Breakfast experience I'd mediocre at best but super expensive for what is compared to other places.The location was an accepted trade-off.

Lovely room, I booked this trip for a birthday getaway for a few days , it was lovely the room was spacious and clean and warm and comfy however, the food situation was next door at the banntyne spa which wasn’t too bad but was pricy

Great stay, room n rest of hotel clean and comfortable . Great stay for a concert at Stadium of Light, prebooked a local taxi there n back to hotel with no issues at a great price Cab51 if u need one hotel has his number nearly half the cost of companies . Only issue was some very merry concert goers still continuing the party atmosphere in hallway outside rooms with friends til 4am , but didn't ruin weekend . Had brekkie at leisure club n was hot, fresh good quality food . Defo go back if needed
