Ged stepped in when another removal company let us down at short notice. Provided a great service and spent a long day making sure everything was moved to our new property. Cheers guys!

We found GK Removals to be thoroughly Professional. They arrived at the when previously arranged, courteous and knew exactly what they were doing.. They removed everything we asked, dismantling it themselves. They even took some excess items at no extra charge. They left the area very clean and tidy.. Would definitely use again to clear out other offices... Would highly recommend.. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I have to say GK Removals NW were amazing, I was nervous about using a ‘smaller firm’ but every company starts somewhere and this team were so reliable, responsive to my panicking texts, turned up on time, kept going without complaining (my moving day was a nightmare!). Highly recommended- seriously!

The review for my house removal 14th July. My contents were viewed and a price agreed, the day of my move they turned up, one man and a helper who was struggling to lift anything, off they went for another helper. Returned and to my horror only half my furniture fitted in the van. You can’t do a house move in two trips, wardrobes we’re scraping down the wall and banister leaving them marked. Half was taken away to the new house. They struggled to move my furniture in and wanted to slide an oak sideboard over a carpet strip, which would of damaged it. Struggled to get a settee in the door. Boxes marked fragile and this way up, placed upside down and on top of each other. Went back for the rest of the furniture as the new owners wanted to move in, how embarrassing. Eventually managed to get the furniture in, and assembled a wardrobe upside down.So the 2 oak furniture land wardrobes that we’re scraped I sold on. The dresser has a piece missing out of the base, small oak sideboard has chips along one corner. The wardrobe that was assembled upside down has scratches on two sides.They totally underestimated this removal and came without the proper sized van and staff to do the job. .*******************************As this is the only way I can reply to your comment here goes.It’s taken a month for my review as for one I’ve been extremely busy and for two I’m in a better mood to write a review.The wardrobes were lifted down the stairs in the afternoon not the morning, your guy was holding his arm in the morning, that’s why you went for help. You claimed you move Oak Furniture land wardrobes frequently so you would of known they are heavy, they went upstairs easy enough.A Luton van, I hadn’t a clue what one holds, you did and assured me all the furniture would of fitted in, which it clearly didn’t, it took 2 trips.Was it my fault I didn’t get the keys till 5? No, you yourself said that sometimes you have to work till late, not me. I was chasing the completion team up for well over an hour. You knew that.Disrespectful to your staff, after seeing expensive furniture scraping down walls and banisters wouldn’t you be upset? Boxes the wrong way up. Furniture assembled wrong.If you would of said from the beginning that the job was to big and to contact another company I would of appreciated it. Instead you came in an undersized vehicle which was totally inadequate for the job and tbh neither were your staff.

Fantastic removals company, Ged came to the rescue when our other removals company let us down the day before our move. Ged replied within minutes to my enquiry and was so helpful and kind on the phone and promised to help us move the following day.On moving day, Ged and his team arrived on time and quickly packed up the many boxes and furniture in our house. The usual delays of moving within a chain meant there was some time to wait until we could move into our new house. But Ged kept in regular contact with us while we waited for the go ahead.A really professional and friendly team, would highly recommend.

Excellent service. Would definitely recommend, took very good care with our belongings. If needed to I would 100% use GK removals again.
