We had a super smooth tenancy thanks to Robert Mecaj at David Harris & Co - just fantastic since day one. On our initial meeting Robert was kind enough to take us around the local area, even drove us in his personal car from one viewing to another, was able to show us a beautiful newly renovated property that hadn't even been listed yet, and was fanatic and efficient with getting the paperwork sorted and allowing us to get moved in very quickly. We stayed at the property for just over 1.5 years (after which we moved out of the area) and we had almost 0 problems with the property or the tenancy. Any small problems that we did encounter were dealt with quickly and efficiently, and all in all we just had a very positive experience. On vacating the property Robert was incredibly helpful in not only dealing with our deposit return, but also with dealing with Barnet Council in terms of terminating our council tax. Really appreciate all of the great work from Robert and would definitely recommend!

There are plenty of estate agents in Finchley, and I would strongly advise to look elsewhere to business with more integrity and honestly.We used David Harris estate agents to try to buy our new home, however our experience was far from acceptable and the estate agents’ actions were a disgrace.We submitted an offer for a property, was accepted by the vendor. 3 months into the process (having conducted surveys/instructed solicitors and agreed our mortgage), we were told the cash buyer had entered negotiations with the vendor and our offer was rescinded. David Harris estate agents had clearly been marketing the property underhand despite it being under offer with us. This cost us months of our time and energy, and thousands of pounds in professional fees. David Harris assured us they were a very honourable business but I can assure you that this is not the case, and the worst I have experienced to date.In addition, they misled us with farcical stories about why previous buyers had pulled out, with two agents telling us different stories. It was a ridiculous situation and we should have seen the warning signs.
