Reading Football Club

What an absolute dump of a ground. No food left at half time even though we went out 5 mins before. No beer left, no cider left and no bitter left after 10 minutes. Can't get out of the car parks afterwards. Shambles of a club, deserved to lose today, should be kicked out of the league and turn it in to a concert venue.

Great atmosphere, don’t listen to babble of opinions. At the end of the day it’s football, it’s up and down and wherever they may be, we are URZZZZZZ!

Attended the Air Ambulance awards held in various rooms in conference area .Excellent venue with different sized rooms ,some overlooking the pitch-food was delicious -had various sweet snacks at coffee /tea breaks ; lunch was very tasty chicken skewers and Salads and then the award meal was well presented and delicious-staff efficient would thoroughly recommend as a venue.

Good day for Barnsley, not so good for Reading. Great ground and fans. (At the time of posting) its a shame about the current situation, hopefully for the fans and club it will get resolved.

New ground to add to my list seeing the mighty Pompey. Modern stadium with no obstructed views. All staff very helpful and polite. Lots for the kids to do outside including a BMX show. Would visit again. Reason for 4 stars, is for the time wasting idiots with the tennis balls that cost YOUR team/club precious points.

Being a Reading fan for many years I'm going to be a bit biast but honest.Great club good for families and great value for money.Access to motorway good but does take quite some time if your parking up at the ground maybe best to park approx 20 mins away and walkThanksSimon

Easy to drive too. Lots of parking close to the ground. Fast service in the concourse. Friendly staff. Decent ground with a good atmosphere. Lots of friendly banter between fans.

On Saturday I went to watch Reading v Blackburn, and really enjoyed my first visit to The Select Car Leasing Stadium to tick off another groundhop.Upon my arrival, I was amazed with the size of the stadium and it's really convenient for home and away supporters that there's a huge amount of parking spaces available on site. I went into the club shop and was delighted to have purchased a pin badge for £2.50, but I was very disappointed to have learnt that the club don't produce matchday programmes which was a big disappointment as I always buy one whenever I visit a new ground.The stewards were really friendly and helpful when I was being directed to the Gate and Block. I really liked the architecture and structure within the inside and outside, in particular the roofing.During half-time, I felt unease with how crowded the concourse was, in particular the queues for food and to go into the toilets.As soon as Reading opened the scoring with a stunning finish from Josh Laurent, the atmosphere lit up and it was really good to see the togetherness within the players and supporters during the goal celebrations and full-time whistle.This was my first experience of being present at a Championship match, and don't think I could have chosen a better fixture to have been present at. As the stadium is wonderful and it was also great to have watched one of my favourite Barnet players from all time in Andy Yiadom playing the full 90 minutes!I look forward to returning to Reading in the near future!
