We love South Deep, there really is no better place for lunch on a sunny day (probably on a rainy day too, but the sun always seems to shine when we’re there!)The mussels are a must! Great choice of beers and wines too. The Rockferry 3rd Rock Sauvignon Blanc is beautiful alongside the mussels. Make sure you book though as it can get busy… always the sign of a good restaurant! Enjoy.

This is a favourite of mine but was a bit mixed tonight. Food excellent as ever but the service was lacking. Very slow and nobody cleared our plates. Won't put me off but hope they get back to where they were last summer when it was spot on every time.

Had a most wonderful evening at this restaurant with our family. The staff were particularly wonderful and did everything they could to accommodate us. Abbie, who served us, was great when it came to selecting our wines and we really appreciated being able to taste them prior to ordering. She was a delight and helped to make our evening special. Chapeau to the chefs, the food was great. It was a 5 star evening for us all. Once again thanks to Abbie, who was so charming, as were the rest of the staff.

Apart from stepping in the dog bowl full of cold water!! (Please make sure they put to the side) it was a totally fab experience. Lovely chilled place and coffee is super nice!! Haven’t eaten here yet but do intend to return! Staff really nice too. ☺️

Great location, beautiful setting, shame about the service!So much potential, a little bit more effort from the staff and this place could be a hidden gem!We had lunch on a Saturday afternoon, sat outside on the deck and placed our order at the outside bar.We waited a long time for our drinks as the server was prioritising new orders over making the drinks for existing orders.When our drinks and food were delivered to our table, the waitresses just dumped the food down on the table and walked away. There was no attempt to ask who's drink was who's and who's food was who's. My husband and I had to swap the food and drinks around each time.We had to ask where the cutlery was after our food was delivered, we weren't offered any condimentsThe food was delicious, and the atmosphere with the dj was great.Tables around us were not being cleared, even with new people sat on them.May visit again for an ice cream.

Nice staff, lovely view and good dinner!I was positively surprised of the quality of the meal. We ordered the mackerel as main and crème brûlée as desert; looked amazing, great preparation.
