Great Service received from Alban Shipping I would highly recommend their pack and ship service.From their amazing staff to quality materials used and actually receiving my fragile item I couldn't fault their service.Their staff were prompt in dealing with my enquiry and emails were always polite and professional. My fragile item arrived in one piece due to the the amazing packing and the materials used etc were of strong quality and you could tell it was packed professionally. I was kept up to date with regards to where my parcel was and it was delivered as promised with no damage to the outer packaging etc. Should the need arise I would without doubt use their services again.

I purchased several 15th century paintings at auction in London and engaged Alban shipping to package and ship them to me in Houston, Texas. I cannot say enough good things about my experience. Albans was lightning fast in its services. They retrieved the painting from Bonhams, crated them and shipped them to me in Texas in record time. The packing was unbelievable, the paintings could have survived an airplane crash they were so well packed and protected. In fact, the crate itself was a work of art, I hate to discard it. They were always very communicative, friendly, proactive and willing to help. I would entrust them with any item(s) and highly recommend their services.

Never having had anything shipped to me following an auction, I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. From getting the quote to receiving my chest of drawers was easy. The gentlemen who delivered the very well wrapped chest of drawers were incredibly friendly and helpful. Would definitely use again!

Sadly very disappointing experience. They were the most expensive quote i had and really excited to use their service, obviously they have built a good reputation over the years but i think because i'm just an individual and not a big business i didn't get the good service. Delivery was 2/3 weeks which was OK, they said they would ring when on route but they didn't so missed it, but the worst thing is they damaged it in transit and it's now worthless. They said because i didn't insure it there is nothing they could do, offered me 15% discount if i used them again as apology. Not one to get angry about things just gutted, they ignored me for weeks asking if they could look for broken parts in the van before a nice call/email apologising but still, i lose out. My advice, if you are wealthy pay the insurance, if not use a smaller local company who will take care. I know they didn't do it on purpose and it wasn't their aim, but definitely felt low priority.

We were delighted with the service. The boys were so polite and helpful and arrived when they said they would, and I can confirm that the person from whom the item was collected agreed with every word

I just wanted to say thanks for a great service provided by Alban Shipping.I have never used a courier before as I have never bought any furniture from an auction that needed delivery.(Normally just by the odd small walk out item from an antique and collectibles shop!).They provided great communication with what was happening and sent me the necessary paperwork I needed to return on email.I wasn’t at home for the delivery but my partner said the delivery guy was great.The bookcase looks good in my hallway!Can happily recommend and wouldn't hesitate to use again.Thanks to all at Alban Shipping.Joe
